I've said it before and I'll say it again, but if this is a hoax/CGI, it's one of the best of all time. With both views now stabilized and synchronized, it's insane how perfectly each element, the trajectories of the orbs, etc all match up…

Can I ask a dumb question? I've missed a lot of this over the past week. Why is there both FLIR and satellite images available for this particular random flight? Considering how many planes are in the sky at all times that seems weird to me but I'm admittedly pretty ignorant about it. Can someone pull up the same FLIR and satellite for my flight last month to Seattle?

If we're not alone, we have the right to know.

It's as simple as that.

It shouldn't be up to a select few who get to decide whether the rest of humanity learns something so profound or not.

Admittedly, this is where it always falls apart in my mind. I don't understand how something so profound would be controlled by so few.

How does that work? A species/civilization that is advanced so far beyond our comprehension that will change humanity forever is taking orders not to reveal itself from a handful of bureaucrats in the DoE or DoD? Also, what happens when those bureaucrats retire? This has been going on for at least 100 years, right?

"Hey Xenon, this is my replacement Bob. I'm retiring to the Poconos. Your secret is safe with him."

That was obviously in jest but the ability for governments, somehow working together for almost a century, to keep this a secret when these aliens/beings/civilizations are so far beyond us just doesn't pass the smell test to me. If it is so profound, why would they wait on the US government to do a "slow roll" of information to prepare the populace? If they were really here, it feels like it would have been self-evident at some point in this timeline. I have a hard time just putting faith in our government in the year 2023 given everything we've seen from them over the past several years and what we know they've done in the past.

It's certainly very impressive looking. I'd argue that if it is a fake then it was done from the ground up as a 100% fake, rather than adding filters and orbs and such to existing plane images or whatnot. That would at least easily explain why there is perfect symmetry between the views.

I went to Reddit. The basic gist is that they believe it is the Malaysian flight that went missing back in 2014? and this is over the Indian Ocean. The government knew where the plane was (but didn't share that publically). They were tracking it with the drone, and our satellites may or may not be able to be rewinded to see whatever we want. The video has a timestamp of 2014 on YouTube from a now deleted account, but I had read that the timestamp stuff can be faked in one of the comments.

It's not super convincing, but if it's indeed a fake, it is a high quality one.

Yeah, these kinds of macro questions are honestly at the heart of all my skepticism. I can't pretend to "disprove" every single video and story and I'm not even really interested in trying, but the whole scenario just doesn't begin to hold together for me at a large scale. And that's why I think many times skeptics are seen as dismissively "handwaving" stuff off instead of seriously giving it the time it deserves. Even though I can certainly see why enthusiasts want to dive into specific impressive videos and such, when I stand back and ask broad questions the whole thing just doesn't hold together to me.

Right on the face of it, which you already alluded to, one of a hundred questions I have is why do we even insist that it's up to the government to disclose this in the first place? How is it their responsibility and not the aliens'?Either it's one of two things. The U.S. government, apparently along with several other governments, has the power to conceal these things against their will (which sure doesn't say much for the aliens), or else very clearly the aliens don't want to be disclosed in which case the government is doing what they're told. Why do you guys insist on pissing the aliens off?

The bottom line is that when I walk outside here on a nice sunny day in a few minutes and go to work, and I ask myself "Do I have any reason whatsoever to think that over that hill, or maybe 100 miles that other way, there are literally beings from another dimension or another part of the galaxy flying around?" All of my senses and all of my experiences and all I've ever learned just combine to tell me there's absolutely no way, regardless of something I saw on the internet. But as I keep saying, I'm receptive to anything that might change my mind.

To clarify why I am not convinced- in my opinion, this is something that a talented high quality graphic artist could do in a month or two if they were motivated. Maybe they had up to a full decade to work on it if you can truly fake the date stamp.

Now, if the video can truly be authenticated by the government, then you have a real moment, here.

And again on the plane thing, if governments had that footage at the time then I can't in any conceivable way imagine that they'd tell the public that it vanished without a trace. That's the last thing they would have done if they wanted to cover it up.

I already tried asking that and was told all the answers are on reddit. Multiple views of one of 120,000 commercial flights per day from a decade ago seems odd to me too. And tailing and zoomed just in time to catch the shocking few seconds. I assume that reddit says we knew ahead of time and therefore had it targeted from the beginning or something, which again, then why in the hell would the government tell people it vanished without a trace? You don't cover it up by telling everyone it's a bizarre mystery.

I'm with you 100% - the idea that we have a drone following a commercial airline is a little out there. The tinfoil hat wearers would tell you that this one is special because it was reported as missing. So in their mind, it would be expected that the government would use a spy satellite and drone to track its every movement.

On Reddit, there's also a theory that satellites capture a wide area of the skies at all times. Then if you want to go back and look, you can "rewind the tape" and zoom in.

It gets even crazier that if the government knows a crime has been committed in a certain place at a certain time, they can rewind the tape, watch the crime occur, then rewind further and see where the criminals came from, where they live, etc.

I wasn't aware this thread was here to convert people to the "alien" side. I understand if you are not interested enough to check out the reddit thread. However, don't insist that we fill in all the gaps just because some of you, who have repeatedly express "genuine interest" in the topic, can't be bothered to read about it.

Regarding the drone following it, it had already been missing several hours. The video is, if believed, to be when the automated handshake ping things or whatever were lost, which was like 7 hours or so after communication with the plane had stopped.

Just to clarify this for everyone, the Malaysia flight was in the South China Sea when it left Malaysian air traffic control territory. It then made a sharp turn back towards the Malaysian peninsula and quit responding to any radio transmission.

It crossed the Malaysian peninsula to the Indian Ocean where it continued flying until the tracking transponder quit sending out any signals.

The Reddit belief is once it diverted from its path and quit sending any communication a military (not sure which military) began tracking it with drones to monitor what it was doing. Then the UAPs came.

The flight path and radio transmission stuff is all documented from the event and in the official reports, everything beyond that is all speculation from the internet.

I find this all highly unlikely although the videos look cool and are very well done assuming they're fakes.

The plane had been missing for several hours, I don't think it is far-fetched the US would try to see what is going on. They are basically flying missles at that point. I don't think the satellite stuff is too outlandish either. Maybe not everywhere to the level of resolution they cited in a particular case. The US has been accused of hiding information and knowing what happened to it without the UFO angle.

As far as the timestamp thing, it isn't really a timestamp as a webarchive of a 2014 video. Can it be manipulated? Possibly, if others say so, then I suppose. But I have seen a screenshot of the video from a 2018 video. Now, the video it is included in is a LARP type video, so if anything it probably reduces the credibility of the video.

The whole point of the latest MH370 issue is that nobody can disprove it beyond reasonable doubt yet. It looks absolutely ridiculous and fake based off our current scientific understanding and beliefs. The last few pages of this thread, which I've just caught up on, have done nothing more than convince me that the pro-alien side is completely off their rocker.

Y'all had my interest a lot more when you were dealing with stuff that had a morsel of believability. Now you've gone into "you'll believe literally anything, which makes me believe nothing you say" territory.

I'm sorry that the reality is too troubling for you.
Now, now Ben..

Not everybody has taken the dive down the rabbit hole. Take some awhile for the light to come on. Each person absorbs the reality at different rates. And even depths perhaps. Good to see the conversations taking place.

I'll never quite understand this mindset. So you're interested to read about it, but laugh at what you read? This whole thing is completely opposite of what we currently know. If you don't want to know anything about it, why even bother with it?

The whole point of the latest MH370 issue is that nobody can disprove it beyond reasonable doubt yet. It looks absolutely ridiculous and fake based off our current scientific understanding and beliefs. All I have been doing is presenting what an army of autistics on Reddit are posting and trying to disprove.

The debris disproves it beyond a reasonable doubt. We have dozens of pieces of debris from the plane. I've read pages and pages on it today and am blown away by what people will believe if they want to.

This is from another site regarding debris:

At the same time lots of other news articles says different. Who knows what to believe? IF you wanted to cover this kind of stuff up it would not be that difficult to plant debris. Perhaps the flaperon was mounted on MH370 at one time and then was replaced? Or the ufos teleported the plane down to the bottom of the ocean? Im not saying it is so, im just saying that "Look at this flaperon now shut up about it" is meh..

Today, there is only 1 piece that is somewhat confirmed out of dozens but it isn't 100% slam dunk. This is what makes people take a double take.

The Farsight data confirms it was a crash. What exactly is the latest issue?
