That's part of the problem with ever discussing this stuff for sure, there's a never a bottom to it. It's like that line in one of the Star Wars prequels, "There's always a bigger fish". I mentioned this earlier in the thread, that whatever level you're willing to accept there's always another group behind that which will say "That's just what they want you to believe, but it's really this.."
And so you end up observing as a skeptic this weird situation where at some level you do see well-intentioned rational people who genuinely think there's something real to this, and maybe there is, but right behind that are 42 more layers of crazy where each one will laugh at the layer right below them. I have repeated myself many times that I'm open to the idea that there's something significant going on behind the scenes. But a non-human intelligence claim would require overwhelming evidence. I'm not really down with the "extraordinary claims require that you just believe hard enough" mindset that some are.
I think until absolutely proven otherwise the assumption should be that it's American experimental tech. As far as the G forces, there no reason these things have to be manned, it's likely they're drones. Technology is advancing so fast even in the public sector that it's astonishing, look at the crazy AI and ro botics stuff you can see openly on youtube, just imagine what's being done that's still top secret. That's still the most plausible answer to me.
But again, I'm watching with curiosity just like you all.

Richard Garriot made the Ultima games in the 1980s and early 90s when gaming was small. They're revered among old gamers and there hasn't been one made in a quarter century. His small company was bought by EA 30 years ago. The property is dead and buried and for many years when he was asked about a new one he said EA wouldn't even respond to him about his request to buy back the rights even though they have no interest in it. Even as late as a couple years ago he was asked if he'd ever remaster them. Basic questions to EA from the media like "But why not?" simply go answered.
Richard Garriott, the creator of the Ultima RPG series, says he's made attempts to revive the games with remasters but was blocked from doing so by publisher EA.
Asked by an Ultima fan on Twitter whether he'd considered the idea of remastering the classic RPGs, Garriott confirmed that the matter is out of his hands.

Now imagine the federal government which deals with 10,000 times more important and dangerous stuff with 1000 times the overly complicated bureaucracy and interior power struggles and financial corruption of even a big private sector company. I'm utterly shocked any time you can ever get any movement or straight answers about anything, no matter how trivial or big.
Ultimately, I think it's a combination of our own high-tech stuff (and fakes, and technical errors or glitches, etc.) presided over by a giant monolith of incompetent and corrupt bureaucrats where one hand doesn't know what the other is doing and nothing can ever get done or made clear because of the weight of the whole craptastic mess.
Half of them probably don't even know who they're supposed to answer to and the overriding concern for everyone is to just not rock the boat. I don't see any reason that generation after generation of people in that type of government should be assigned the kind of magical powers of obfuscation they get. Try to get a passport these days.

I can easily see a situation where a serious general focused on a very real military project has minor congressmen show up asking to see the aliens that would make him rudely dismiss them without it implying anything beyond that. To most people in the real world this stuff is still laughed at on its face.
If Burchett and the others were truly illegally blocked then I would hope that (and I can't believe I'm saying this) Congress would get to the bottom of it quickly in a united kind of way. One thing both parties agree on is they don't want their power challenged.

One of the primary goals to raise awareness beyond podcasts and social media, and have sound bites from these hearings playing on the evening news.

Maybe this will get more people talking about it. I've randomly asked friends, coworkers if they've heard of these claims being made. Not if they believe them or not, just if they've heard about it. 3/4 didn't know about any of it.
