Plugged into Luis Elizondo...
Why does everything keep coming back to this guy?
I'm there with you on Luis. He comes across as someone trying to sell tv shows. Has he been going on any paid speaking circuits?
If Luis' primary motivation is disclosure and the public has a right to know, then he needs to quit hiding behind his secrecy agreement and tell everything he knows, or go away.
I could not disagree with this more. IMO, Lue does not
at all come across as someone "trying to sell TV shows."
Yes, after he left the Pentagon (in frustration, because he was being met with deaf ears and felt he couldn't affect change), he and a number of other reputable officials/scientist joined To the the Stars, because they felt that teaming together and getting their message out via their
Unidentified series would be the most effective course of action. And the two seasons of that series are not only some of the best, most earnest and serious examination of the subject to date, they *actually* affected change within the government, via the series, by establishing an official protocol by which military pilots can now report UAP sightings. (Never mind the massive awareness they raised in general through both the series and the 2017 NYT article, essentially changing the UAP field forever.)
But then, the second that both Lue and Christopher Mellon felt that To the Stars was becoming too entertainment focused, they left the company. Lue
gave up his To the Stars salary,
stopped appearing on TV, and instead went solo, doing unpaid podcast interviews here and there as a way of continuing to raise awareness. To my knowledge, Lue has not been paid on any speaking circuits either, but I could be wrong. Maybe an appearance or two here and there? Either way, how else do you expect someone who is taking up this cause to make a living? Because that's what it is… a living and nothing more. None of these people are getting rich off of this, not by a long shot.
As for "hiding behind his secrecy," Lue would literally go to jail for publicly revealing everything he knows, seeing as the vast majority of the information he knows is classified. He's said this time and again, and it's not bullsh*t either. His decorated career, along with the various positions of authority he's held within the government, have all been verified.
It's just that anytime I see people knocking him, it always seems to be coming from a place of either bias, jealousy, or ignorance. Because if you truly look at the facts, along with his character, the dude could not be any more genuine. To the point where I really do think he's going to go down in the history books when and if the story of disclosure is finally written.
