If this is a con, what a con.

If there's a sea of lies, then kudos for doing so with wave after wave of detail, dates, places, times, people. Impressive.
Even with subjectivity, inherently the case with bedridden visions (archeology has helped Emmerich) … a sea of detailed lies is not that hard to pick apart (say, Joseph Smith, an impressive fraudster).
So, if Alberino is running a big con with his (excellent) members community, just another grifter - impressive.

Regarding why remains would be hidden, at least from the 20th Century, Alberino has a solid speculation THAT ALSO fits with occultic accounts -
Because these are both demons and demon-ic, and there is real power. ALL Christians are obligated to take this possibility seriously, because it's clear what 2nd Temple era authors / compilers (200 BC to 200 AD, give or take) THOUGHT demons were (spirits of hybrids eager for a flesh vessel, Michael Heiser has lots of detail about this)

If demons and the demon-ic exist, then perhaps the authors and editors of the 2nd Temple period were quite advanced in their understanding….

Babylonian kings claimed to be descended from the apkallus and other divine figures from before the flood. The collective claim was that glorious Babylonia was the sole possessor of divine knowledge, and that that empire's rule had the approval of the gods. The biblical writers and later Jews disagreed. They saw Babylonian knowledge as having demonic originsin large part because the apkallus themselves were so intertwined with Mesopotamian demonology. The Babylonian elite taught that the divine knowledge of the apkallus had survived the flood through a succeeding postflood generation of apkallusgiant, quasi-divine offspring fathered by the original preflood apkallus.
Quote:
First Enoch 8 goes on to elaborate how certain watchers corrupted humankind by means of forbidden divine knowledge, practices largely drawn from Babylonian sciences, another clear indication that the intellectual context of the story was known to Second Temple authors. Since the Babylonian apkallus were considered demonic, it is no mystery why Peter and Jude link the events of Genesis 6:14 to false teachers (2 Pet 2:14). While attacking their aberrant knowledge, Peter and Jude evoke the imagery of Genesis 6. False teachers are "licentious" men who indulge in "defiling lusts" (2 Pet 2:2, 10; Jude 8). Like the divine beings of Genesis 6 who "did not keep to their own domain" (Jude 6), defecting from the loyal elohim of Yahweh's council, false teachers "despise authority" and "blaspheme majestic beings" whom angels dare not rebuke (2 Pet 2:911; Jude 810).
The people who see Lue Elizondo as the boogie man without any good evidence are just as silly as those who will defend him no matter what.

My problem is...the claim by Gerb that Lue being in some new UAP position is "detrimental" to disclosure and that we are currently in a "perilous" situation...is over the top and a bit of fear mongering. IMO. And that's going to be the only takeaway from that interview with Ross, for most people.
Now, if anybody wants to question why the troubling aspects of what AAWSAP found were downplayed (ignored by the NYT in 2017 and the sources they used) and "controlled" from the beginning of this going public, including the paranormal aspect, you'd have a point.
Lacatski has said nobody in the national/mainstream media has tried to interview him except for Greenstreet (N.Y. Post). I don't think he mentioned Greenstreet by name but it was obvious who he was talking about.
So why has that happened? Have people been bad mouthing Lacatski behind the scenes to said media so they won't interview him and so people won't realize how complicated and scary the phenomenon can be at times? And if so, who?
Look at how poorly any of my AAWSAP and SATP posts have done over the years. Those four books (Lacatski, Knapp and Kelleher. And then just Lacatski on the last two) should be bestsellers, IMO. This is NOT just about nuts and bolts craft.
I think a lot of people are going to be surprised when it turns out the investigative side of AAWSAP determined that the phenomenon is more paranormal, with UFOs being a subset of that. Not the other way around. Lacatski has spoken about that, recently.

Therefore, at this time, if you are thinking of speaking to the executive branch pursuant to this directive, I strongly recommend that, in addition to an attorney, you request that either I or another member of Congress be present with you."
Wise and shrewd words by Representative Burlison. The waiving of NDAs (and hopefully specific, conditional amnesty provisions) presents an unprecedented opportunity for a litany of individuals with firsthand experience in UFO Legacy Programs or firsthand experience in general relating to the topic of UFOs to deliver testimony regardless of signed non-disclosure agreements.
From 2017 to 2023, the Senate (Rubio, I'm looking at you) failed to act on several years' worth of actionable intelligence gathered from SSCI. From 2022 to the present, AARO has effectively operated as a honeypot for whistleblower testimony, even lying about witness statements in AARO Historical Report Volume 1, all while Sean Kirkpatrick continues to display brazen immaturity and emotional lashouts regarding whistleblowers, specifically David Grusch.
Due to this, plus some prospective whistleblowers having pensions threatened, administrative terrorism leveraged, or threats made if they give testimony on UFO-related matters covered by NDAs, I wager this opportunity comes with quite a bit of trepidation and low trust for prospective witnesses....
Representative Burlison has demonstrated for years he is committed to investigating the topic, continuously championing legislation, sending extremely thorough interrogatives, conducting on-site visits, and of course, most importantly, hiring David Grusch.
Grusch and Burlison's office are EXTREMELY respected and trusted. I think it is fair to say prospective witnesses would be SIGNIFICANTLY more comfortable delivering testimony if they know Rep. Burlison has their back and is physically present in the SCIF.
Of course, it should be a foregone conclusion that David Grusch also attends these sessions! One, because there is no better man alive who can navigate this ecosystem, and two, because Mr. Grusch commands tremendous trust and respect from prospective whistleblowers/witnesses... I struggle to see a world in which testimony can be inappropriately or incorrectly handled with Grusch present.
Thank you for all your efforts, Representative Burlison!
Here’s where I stand on @UAPGERB. I believe he’s one of the best interviewers and podcasters the UFO community has right now. More importantly, he’s one of the few people willing to push back instead of simply accepting every claim at face value, and that’s refreshing.

That said, I think he should be even more skeptical of what some of his sources tell him. People in these circles often feed selective information, half-truths, or outright falsehoods to test what gets repeated and by whom. It's part of the culture, and I think he's encountered that more than once.
If I could say one thing to Gerb, it'd be this: keep pushing back, but don't stop digging. Some of your sources have built their own operation within the larger operation, and they're using your platform for their own purposes. Keep asking the difficult questions.
I'd also encourage you to press them on consciousness. Ask what they actually know about its role in the phenomenon. If all you get are vague talking points and buzzwords without substance, that tells you a lot about how closely they really understand the programs they claim to understand.
Parts of what became the public disclosure effort drifted from their original purpose as individuals pursued their own agendas. By now, the conversation should be much deeper into the relationship between consciousness and the phenomenon.
Regardless, keep up the good work, @UAPGERB. Stay skeptical, keep asking hard questions, and don't be afraid to follow the evidence wherever it leads. If you keep digging into consciousness itself, I think you'll eventually find the people who genuinely understand what's going on, rather than those who claim they do.
