I'm hearing there's a lot of deliberate misinformation going around regarding THE BATMAN: PART II to preserve the film's many secrets. I would not believe many of the rumors circulating at the moment.

I obviously don't want to get your guys hopes up. But if they just changed the rebranded their accounts now and changed those logos then that means something is coming in a few mins/hours (or tomorrow).

I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH, SO TAKE THAT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. Something… https://t.co/2wc0bXLVoq

2/2 The Parallax View is about a secret organization that recruits psychologically vulnerable men and turns them into assassins for the powerful people pulling the strings behind the scenes. Reeves has already pulled heavily from 70s paranoia thrillers in The Batman. He's openly…

1/5 The Parallax View: Batman starts investigating a series of murders and uncovers something much bigger. The Court of Owls aren’t just “behind the scenes.” Gotham itself was built by them. Every institution Bruce trusts leads back to the same people who are brainwashing…

2/5 Shutter Island: Reeves already introduced the Arkham family in Part I. Martha’s history showed us Arkham wasn’t exactly a compassionate institution. What if Bruce discovers Arkham has been used for decades to lock away inconvenient people, experiment on them, and erase them?…

3/5 Eyes Wide Shut: Bruce Wayne must step out of his Batman Mask and learn to use his Bruce persona to infiltrate Gotham’s elite through secret gatherings and masked rituals. The Court isn’t just powerful. It’s old money, generational influence, and a dark world. Bruce feels like…

4/5 Mask of the Phantasm: Bruce finally lets someone in. He sees a version of life beyond Batman. Then Scarlett Johansson’s character betrays him, revealed to be a high-ranking member of the Court of Owls. The tragedy isn’t that Batman loses. It’s that Bruce almost found…

5/5 Maybe I’m completely off base. But a Court of Owls conspiracy thriller mixed with psychological horror, elite corruption, and a doomed love story feels exactly like the kind of swing Matt Reeves would take after Part I.
— William O'Bryan (@FilmbyObryan) June 16, 2026
I could also see this happening! A little bit of phantasm in there too.

I do appreciate these posts with the movie updates, but yeah, we all know that the people involved with a movie are going to hype it, so their opinions and endorsements hold little to no weight IMO.

Another project we can all get behind. A known villain in the Batman universe. Would love to see some crossover with The Penguin or a mention of Bruce or Batman just to connect the dots. Not a difficult formula, get a known villain with a big name star and print money.

I read this as being a TV series like The Penguin, and i'm not sure how much viewership a Poison Ivy series pushes to HBO Max.
If it becomes a movie, like Clayface, "printing money" would be highly questionable and completely depend on the budget. Comic book universes aren't that well known outside of comic book "nerds" (and I use that term in a friendly manner since I consider myself one). A Poison Ivy project won't "print money" in the manner that you're speaking of. Give it the same budget of Supergirl, and it'll completely lose money just like Supergirl did. Keep it a reasonable budget of no more than $50 million, make it known in the advertising that its in Reeves' The Batman universe, and it would likely turn a profit after a worldwide run.

Ive honestly wanted to see someone make Poison Ivy in a grounded way, so I'm interested. I always thought she could be like an eco-terrorist type person.

Ok, sooooo, suggestions for who should play her?
These days when one of the priorities is "she has to be hot," Sydney Sweeney makes my top 5 list by default, lol. But who else.

There are only 2 logical choices.
1) Lupita Nyongo
2) Elliott Page
