Totally agree. Sometimes she looks good and other times she looks ugly. I can see both arguments in a hot/not debate.

I can't help but think they'd lose viewers for season 3 if they killed off Tanya. Viewers would be pissed, especially the gheys. Gheys love this show and they love Jennifer Coolidge even more.

I think they'll carry Tonya/Tanya through to next season for television purposes, but there are a lot of hints in the show that she will die.
Someone a few pages back on this thread stated that Mike White has remarked that he wouldn't ever do White Lotus without Jennifer Coolidge in the cast.

For me it is mildly entertaining, i like some of the scenery and music, its fairly sophisticated storytelling in some ways, but in some ways very menial, and sometimes outsmarts itself.
It is pretty good and i'll keep watching but mainly as it is a middle ground decent show both my wife and i can watch.

I do agree that the overall conception and story lines with the heavy ghey overtones is lame and pretty bland.
I enjoy some of the dialogue, some of the acting, and mostly the locations and cultural aspects such as the opera and art.

Tanya has grown a bit on me with the husband gone. And admittedly one of the funniest lines so far was a random one, when she said the beach club guy had the weirdest voice she'd ever heard. Her delivery was perfect.

Tanya is annoying at times but she's the ethos of the show. And what makes it great is you don't have to love her storyline because Mike gives us other things to connect with.
Season 1 gave us a foundation but I'm loving season 2 so much more and I'm sort of shocked to think that.
Season 2 is incredible. I'm much more interested in the Tanya storyline this go around versus last season. Season 1 I found her painfully annoying. This year I'm intrigued.

one reason some may not like the way the actor for Ethan portrays the character is that he is NOT American.
shockingly, neither is Cameron.
which makes sense, because American men are awful actors and we have to go to the Commonwealth of England countries to find decent leading men.
anyhoo, it seems the entire cast states that GREG is the worst character and that Albie is the best. so that would lead me to conclude Greg ends up in the Med Sea.
