I like Prime's integration with IMDB, but yea the entire UI needs a refresh badly.
I take it you've watched Longmire?Flatlander said:
The cinematography and scenery is indeed great. But I kept looking at the scenery and thinking it looks a lot more like New Mexico than Wyoming. I told my wife, "I'd swear this was filmed near Santa Fe if it weren't for the obvious Teton mountains in the background."
So I checked, and the outdoor scenes are being filmed in New Mexico; areas around Bernadillo and Santa Fe. Now I am wondering if they just photo-shopped the Tetons into the background.

There's a decent amount of fighting/blood/language. In general, it's a fairly intense/serious show. But so far no outright gore or nudity or anything like that.
Well of course, there's no need to be gross.Quote:
but no mensuration talk.

Boy after watching that second episode, I think I have my next Thanksgiving prayer all lined up

I'll be watching ep 3 and 4 tonight.
The town scenes are Las Vegas, New Mexico - same town Brolin in No Country For Old Men was filmed (and Red Dawn!). Yes, the Tetons were digitally inserted.Flatlander said:

What's your take on Autumn and the buffalo

After watching episode 3, my earlier comment about photo-shopping mountains seems rather prescient.

I'm finding it difficult to take Flatlander seriously on this subject.
you clearly haven't used AppleTV on a computer. Damn site doesn't even have a search bar. I click on the latest Severance episode and it freezes on a black screen and I have to reset the page to get it started.TCTTS said:
If a streaming platform could have existed in 2005, Amazon is exactly what it would have felt like. It's so damn sh*tty and archaic looking. They can't even manage to use high-quality images for the poster art/icons, which seems like the easiest thing ever.
That said, at least they have 4K video, something even HBO Max doesn't have for its series, and I do like the actor info in any given scene when you pause it.
