Buell said it best - they both had every chance to live great lives - cliff mayne was as good a law firm situation as you could find, got a cut of a huge case, and she had her own thing with mesa verde and situated in another decent firm, with even Hamlin willing to let them fly.
These *****es just can't live with a good life, they had to feel like they were getting over. I've seen it in real life. They deserve a **** ending.
Do tell. It'll help pass the six weeks.
i recently took a multi million dollar judgment from a borrower that was engaged in a massive fraud.
the lawyer for the borrower turned out to secretly own the borrower. he took that secret deal to pay off old crooked debts, and arranged all manner of outlandish frauds to try to steal loan money and the collateral.
now he's looking at what could be a hundred million dollar problem and a whole bucket of felonies.
if he'd have just paid the loan he could have made a fortune on the property honestly, but he just can't do a win win, ever. simply cannot do it. he has to defraud someone. he could also be a very effective lawyer and make a ton of money, but he just can't stay legit. frankly he if he settled the issue he could still get the property and not lose money, but he's too much of an ego maniac to do it.
