Right, I think Jimmy/Gene hasn't reached out to her out of an abundance of caution for her safety, but then finally does so after deciding not to get vacuumed again. I think he confronts the taxi driver, confirms that he really is just some random dude who recognizes him, realizes he's being overly paranoid, and then either finally tracks down Kim - or - they have a fleeting, chance encounter.

I don't think Kim gets Vacuum Guy'd either. If it got that hot and heavy, Jimmy would go too

I would love to see Kim in Gene's world even if it's only in the distance and he can't contact her.

Unless there's a massive time jump between BB and the Omaha scenes, that kid would like like 6-8 at most.

Saul goes to pick up $7MM in cash for Jorge deGuzman's bail, gets ambushed, and Mike saves the day killing almost all of the attackers. Saul's car is too shot up so Mike & Saul have to walk through the desert for a couple days to get rescued.

The more I think about it, Jimmy ultimately learning that he has a kid he can't be with is the perfect fate. He gets his fleeting Kim reunion and learns that he has a kid, the one good thing to come from this whole nightmare. It's of course bittersweet in that he can't be with the kid or Kim, but the kid ultimately represents a new beginning/fresh start/chance at the life Jimmy/Kim couldn't have. Something along those lines.

Kim gets to start over and be the kind of mom she never truly got from her own mother. Jimmy's ultimate sacrifice is staying away from Kim and the child to protect them, to go live the rest of his life in obscurity. The one thing he cared about the most and wanted to hold on to through this whole thing (Kim) is so close yet so far.

I could definitely see something like that playing out.

And that's why he's never going to lay low in Omaha for long.

Bail money was Salamanca money, twins delivered it.

Likely Don Bolsa sent some mercenaries to ambush Saul because he wanted Lalo to remain in jail (and thus under control).

Gus wanted Lalo to be sprung from jail to keep Salamancas off his scent, so he dispatched Mike to protect Saul.

Eta: Gus also wanted Lalo out of jail and forced back to MX because Lalo was still hitting him from prison. Needed him away from ABQ and the lab

Unless someone has insider information, I don't see how it could spoil the ending for anyone. And as others said, all the speculation is just BS any way.

There are only two things I have ever figured out in BB/BCS history. When Walt went to see Tio Hector in the nursing home, I knew he was going to wire the bomb to Hector's bell. I think everyone saw that coming.

I also figured Howard was going to die in this week's episode. And technically I was right, but boy could I never have predicted how that happened.

Good reminder on the phone call to vacuum guy. Saul has well over 200k to get gone so he has plenty of money he took off with. Problem is keeping a low profile to not attract attention.

The version I remember in BB was him busting open his office wall and packing stacks of cash.

So what is Gene/Jimmy's reason to change his mind? What or who did he see when he turned around at the pay phone? There is something or someone there that causes his change of heart.

Wasn't expecting Lalo to cap Howard prior to the episode.

At some point during the Howard apartment scene, I made the connection that Lalo about to show up and shoot this mfer.

Probably about 5 seconds before Lalo came into view.

So congrats to the writers on that. They got me.

Writers could be trolling us with Gus' gun in the mini excavator track and pacing off the power cord.

Get us all thinking we know whats up and go the opposite direction.

Maybe Checkhov's gun doesn't get fired.

Didn't they do that in Mad Men with the rifle?
