Does anyone think Gene/Saul might turn himself in to face the legal punishments. Always tip toed around the law, maybe he might wants to break good in the end.

Obviously they gave him a chance to turn on the cartel in episode 3.

Would be a great excuse to have him fearing for his life after being kidnapped by Walt and Jesse

I think he meant at the end in Nebraska. He certainly doesn't do so in the current BCS timeline.

Weird to think that every single person in the last scene is dead by the end of Breaking Bad.

Four of them by Walt's hand.

Mike said something along the lines of "there's a lot of ways this could go wrong" so I don't think he was surprised.

When Mike whispered "do it" was he wanting Nacho to shoot Bolsa or himself?
When they were going over the plan, he also made a comment along the lines of "And remember, your hands will be zip-tied.." so i don't think he expected him to break free.

I assumed the "do it" comment was in regard to taking out Bolsa.
That's what I thought as well and it was confusing to me watching and I think I'm even more confused now after reading other's analysis of it all.

Why would Mike have wanted that? All hell would have broken loose for all parties involved including Mike himself.

I liked Nacho pretty well in the first couple of seasons and thought he served a solid purpose with some good/decent acting but his progression as a character over the series and performance in that last episode was just all flat out remarkable.

What if he was trying to talk himself into shooting Nacho? (As a way of saving his father.)

Mike provided the glass. He was ready to help Nacho take them all out

I think he was waiting for him Tomsk what he was supposed to do.
But the larger question is what happens if Mike shoots him? Would seem pretty clear someone from one of the 2 groups would have to be involved, so it all but implicates Gus.

And how many times have we seen Mike in sniper position the last few years and not pulled the trigger. It's almost like Saul being kidnapped in homeland.

True, but I feel like it could've been salvageable if Mike shoots him. Gus says he was there for extra protection.

I see you, writers. This was no accident.

A great final title card for Mando.

Didn't see it mentioned but how incredible was it that Mike pours Nacho a glass of whiskey to share with him before having to kick his ass because he "looked too pretty"?

Like, was that to help Nacho ease the pain a bit from the beating he was about to take or just more of a "sorry I have to do this, pal, cheers" gesture?

Mike isn't that sloppy. Leave him alone in a room with a giant shard of glass visible in the trash? Nope. He provided chances to get something sharp during that whole last meal stretch

Maybe, but I think it's a stretch to say it for sure.

Plus it really wouldn't improve the situation for anyone.

It was purely a last resort thing.

And I think once Nacho pulled the gun on Bolsa, Mike was okay with him doing it. He ultimately thinks Nacho is worthy of getting out of the situation, and everyone else there is not.

I'll have to go back and rewatch episode 2 but I'm not sure Mike was in the room when Gus broke the glass. And why would Mike worry about glass in a trash can?

Brothers walk around like a couple of demons. They move in an unnatural way.

Theres something unsettling about'em.

They seem more intense than in previous seasons … in a forced kind of way.

Who would have been upset by Bolsa getting capped? Gus certainly doesn't like having to report to him and Hector was openly disrespectful to him multiple times.

And to whoever posted that Mike wanted Nacho to kill Bolsa so they could take them all out you need to put down the bottle and sober up. That is a ridiculous theory.

Well Bolsa is second in command so I'd think Don Eladio would be none too pleased about it.

I think Mike was just rooting for the kid in the moment when he pulled the gun on Bolsa. It's not like Nacho hasn't proven himself to be resourceful enough to come up with that on his own. And I think the last time we saw Nacho before the trip to the desert was when Mike left him alone in Gus' office after the drink, and the camera looked up at Nacho through the bottom of the glass, as Nacho was staring down at it. Nacho either broke that glass, or found Gus's broken glass in the trash can while he was alone.

They are making a point to show a bunch of monotony in the Jimmy / Kim relationship.

Kim Wexler seems less enthused with Jimmy than previous seasons.

She seems dissatisfied. That's what Im saying.

Kim and Lalo bout to ****.,

Thats my prediction.

But he isn't there. That's my point. Sure he'd be upset but if Nacho is the one who killed him and Nacho was in turn killed what could Eladio do at that point?

Man, I know it'll never happen, but I so wish they'd sell packages to take you and a friend out to Albuquerque for a Saturday and do a 2 hr role play with your choice of working with Kim/Jimmy on a scam or a Mike/Nacho/Salamanca cartel mission written by the show directors. Afterwards a quick photo op and pint and you're on your way home. They could charge $10K minimum and people would buy it.

No, afterward participants get to eat a pizza off of Walter White's roof.

I've gotten this vibe from Kim throughout the entire series. She always seems moments away from ending things with Jimmy, like she's annoyed with him and can barely tolerate him.

Good Luck! I took a BB tour when i was in Albuquerque, the lady who owns that house is crazy, and despises all the attention and people that come see the house. she put up a fence around the property because people kept thorwing pizzas on the garage. It barley even looks like the same house anymore...

We went a few years ago and the garage was open and one guy was dressed up like Heisenberg in a trench coat and glasses. House looked the same as in BB. We saw Wendy's motel and the car wash. We were killing time prior to a flight.

So no spoiler, just trying to throw things together, but would the scene of Saul in the desert with Jesse and Walt talking about Nacho/Lalo be one for this season now that there is definitely more meat to it based on the back story?

Admittedly, I don't get into the weeds watching BCS so I'm sure I've missed certain clues but I don't get the hate for Howard. I get that he's weaselly, superficial and unctuous but Chuck was the real villain from Jimmy and Kim's law journey. Is destroying him just a way to keep J&K's marriage interesting?
DannyDuberstein
How long do you want to ignore this user?

I think It's a combo of Jimmy's misplaced lingering hate for Chuck and guilt about basically driving him to his death, and he's using Howard as a punching bag outlet to punish. And yes, Jimmy and Kim's relationship basically grew by bonding over a series of scams, so this feeds that too.

Howard's biggest sin was finding himself tangled up between these two highly dysfunctional brothers. No win situation, even after one is dead

Then realized it's not Mr Show but the 2015 Netflix reboot called "w/Bob and David". So not really a coincidence, he's there to watch a friend and coworker I guess.
