He got to tell hector what he did. A little bit of justice before he went out!

One of the best deaths in the BB/BCS franchise, second only to Walt's. Mike got done dirty in BB

DA Suzanne when talking to Kim nails Saul vs Jimmy so perfectly, and how he's in over his head. Saul is a surface act, Jimmy is a lawyer who got in a bad spot.

And Huell with the question any of us would have - why? Why are Saul and Kim doing this?

So good

Saul was such an after-thought in this episode. Poor Nacho - definitely a great character. The replay just started - I still don't get that piece of glass that was getting rained on. Did he use that to cut the zip tie?

That was some kick ass acting by Michael Mando. Nacho is definitely one of the most memorable characters in the BCS/BB universe. You could feel his internal anguish. That final call to his dad, damn that got me.

Great scene. I don't know if the part about putting Tio Hector in the wheelchair was planned, but it definitely helped sell the story because it was true. Hell, most of it was true.

I just watched it again. At first I thought the plan was for Mike to take him out, but now I think he was there as an insurance policy. The plans was always for Nacho to off himself. Scratch that, watched some more. Victor was supposed to shoot him, Mike was insurance and said as much. The shard of glass was from the glass Gus broke last week, and Nacho found it in the trash can. The suicide was his own planning.

Loved Nacho getting to tell off Hector before he went out but man that's tough to see such a great character come to an end. I hope Nacho's dad is safe and we are done having to worry about him but IRL he would be toast and the cartel would make his death brutal just because Nacho went off on Hector.

So now that Nacho is out of the picture, we can continue to speculate as to what proof Lalo is going after.

Still unanswered - who was tailing Saul and Kim? PI hired by Hamlin or detective looking into Saul because of his relationship with Nacho/Tuco/Lalo?

When he has the gun to Bolsa's head, Mike said "do it". Almost like they didn't put the zip tie on so the way so that Nacho could escape and kill Bolsa. But why would Gus want Bolsa dead?

I'm now convinced that Lalo's proof is going to be Nacho

Of course it is, both Mike and Lalo himself tell you this.

I genuinely have no idea why this is a debate. The show tells you it's Nacho. It punches you in the fact with it.
What does Lalo do now? Does he have the same feeling he had after reviewing the construction Ziegler was allegedly working on? Outsmarted, despite his instincts? Is he forced to keep pretending he is dead for some reason? Does he show up to talk to Gene? Does Mike kill him soon?

Wasn't that just next week's preview? I didn't see them being tailed either last week or tonight.

Nacho might have overdone it. The Salamancas may go after his dad in spite. Mike can't protect him 24/7. And it can't be known that Mike is protecting him at all.

I'm 98% sure the Nacho/Nacho's Dad storyline is done. Moving on.

Last scene of episode 2, after Kim and Saul leave the Kettlemans tax trailer, a car pulls out and follows them.

I'm not sure. When Mike found the false ID for Nacho's dad in the safe, he deliberately put it away in his pocket like he thought he might need it later.

I think the more obvious inference here is that Mike kept the ID so the Salamancas wouldn't find it when they broke into the safe, in the hopes it would keep him safe.

It's funny.
As I was watching it I didn't think much of the episode, mainly because did the "hey - let's go drive away and leave the place he left the truck and has to ber" business at the beginning:
But that aside, on reflection it's one of the better episodes of both series. The poignance they had for Nacho and the path they led him down in this was brilliant. Even down to him not killing Bolsa when he had the chance - one final act for his dad. Wish we had more of him, such a great character but a perfect end for him.

If they go after Nacho's dad now, then one or more of Hector, the cousins, or Mike die. We know that doesn't happen. Nacho just ended it. This great death they gave him is also undermined and meaningless if that happens. He sacrificed himself for nothing. Not happening

RIP Nacho. He was one of the more honorable characters in this entire show. Great acting, as well.

The district attorneys office knows DeGuzman is Lalo. They know Saul slipped and called his client Lalo. Represented Tuco and other known associates. They are tailing him. Might not work for show but it seems they could discover Kim visited Lalo in jail as well.

I still think there's more to it. He didn't just remove it, but squirreled it away in his pocket like he though he might need it later. I can't say why, but it seems like an open plot point which will come into play.

We also know that doesn't happen because all of those characters are in Breaking Bad...

The DA wasn't one of the two people Saul was talking to when he accidentally said Lalo, was she?

Great episode. The first 15 minutes of Nacho was intense. I didn't think it would end like that being it's only the third episode. Satisfaction to hear Nacho tell Tio that it was him he put in the wheelchair and he thinks Lalo is dead. Can't imagine how this show will be without Nacho but I trust Vince Gilligan.

Michael Mando was great this episode and his character has been and one of the best in the BCS/BB universe.

Indeed. Also with the blue flower, maybe a nod to the blue meth in BB.
