One of the things that makes this thread pretty awesome is the fact that it's a 99% supportive environment centered on a shared affinity for shoes. That's the microculture that's been created here. You feel a need to bag on folks - that's fine. But you can find that somewhere else.

Looks like I missed quite a discussion on grails. These are a personal grail for me growing up in Mo City and don't really have anything to do with their cost. I would imagine for most on here if there was an official shoe for your school it would likely be a personal grail as well.

Already have the Autumn Gentleman Dunks and not going to pay for the Travis Scott SB Dunks with the bandana print and I like the uniqueness of these and using the different materials. Was intrigued by the "Big Money Savings" also but liked these more.

I have a very annoying question. I found a pair of the converse Aero Jams in a size 13 but it is missing one lace cover.


If I bought a second pair in a smaller size, like a 10 1/2 or 11, what are the odds the lace covers are the same size?

These are AJ1s. OG version too, which means they have the shorter tongue, which IMO is much more comfortable, especially with no-show/low-cut socks. They fit true to size for me.

Hello sneaker folks…

Want to give you an update on our kid from a few weeks back. My wife fought like hell, got the problem out of the house, and our kid is able to move back to his house! He should now be safe and able to finish out the school year!

Thanks again to all who donated. Planning a raffle soon, but some of you didn't leave me a username so I may have to do some hunting.

They are packing him up today and I had to get you a pic of his shoes.

I go a half size down bc they feel floppy compared to the non-OG AJ1s and I already have the Ted Lasso ones too.
