Forgot about the J1 Chinese New Year drop this morning. Was going to be my first draw in a while.
Congrats to those that hit.

Oh my toddler daughter totally has a few of those, we just packed up the cutest pair of Vans I don't think she ever wore. These are sized out a bit so they should fit him in the springBowSowy said:

You should explain more about what makes them quality (I.e. what you're looking for and paying for in these). I think it's easier for people to appreciate style in photos, but less so quality. I would be interested to learn more about this market. I've shopped bespoke dress shoes before, so I know a little, but what makes these sneakers worth the extra coin?
There is no better marketing strategy than appealing to women with their babies. My worst example was getting sold on an unnecessarily expensive self-rocking baby swing. I was tired as **** and was told we could put her in it to give her a nap and give us a break. That lasted like twice until my wife decided she felt bad just leaving her baby in there like that. Expensive piece of junk shoved to the side after that.Sea Speed said:
Any time my wife wanted some dumb baby thing I told her that humans have survived for thousands of years without X so we will surely be fine without it. Batting .500 or so with that one.
Good stuff, man. These shoes aren't for me, but I appreciate the craftsmanship and your enjoyment of them.Green2Maroon said:MW03 said:Green2Maroon said:

I think there are a lot of things that go into this. Both the Harlestone and Overstone can be resoled because of the design and construction. Crown uses very high quality leathers from the Horween tannery in Chicago and the C.F. Stead tannery in Leeds, England. My Harlestones have American bison leather from Horween and the Overstones have wild kudu leather from South Africa, tanned by C. F. Stead. Harlestones have a cork filled midsole design with a premium natural rubber outsole. Overstone uses a nearly as high quality midsole and outsole unit. Both shoes are fully leather lined with calfskin.
There's more than I have memorized about these shoes. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and read a lot of reviews online before buying them. I think I could get many years out of both pairs.
i didn't think so but could be wrong. Those were bulkier due to being SB right?Teddy Perkins said:
These are set to have the revamped shape that the SB Pine Greens had, correct?
