It took a lot of restraint to not pick up one of the five Made in the USA released today for Grey Day. Might have to bite if I can find them with a discount later. The 990v4 really caught my eye.

I checked out their website and the package includes StockX packaging accessories including the authenticity badge. I don't have an issue with reps if the buyer is aware but why would they include the StockX badges unless it was there to help people rip off other people?

Believe it or not, some people keep those StockX tags on their shoes when they wear them. And I think they also include them because having a StockX tag on the shoes makes them look legit for pictures (for the people who like to post pictures of their shoes to social and have them look real).
I'm sure some people use those fake StockX tags to try to rip people off on marketplaces like Facebook where there isn't authentication, though.

They may have a better chance of clearing customs (if checked) with the StockX tags.
My pair did not have any stockx tags when they arrived.
If the rep company is based in India or China I guess there isn't a thing StockX can do about it either.

The factories that make the fakes and these middlemen get raided by local police from time to time. I'd bet they don't make enough money to be worth going after for Nike, though.
If you want reps even cheaper, you can research a 'shopping platform' like PandaBuy. Depending on the pair, you can get some for for $20+ while skipping places like KickWho. Shipping costs have shot up though.
It's a little confusing to use at first, but it doesn't take long to understand the process. I'd imagine it would be easier for somebody who already understands international shipping.

I started with a middleman (JoyStudio), then shipped about 5 hauls with CSSBUY. Next, I'm going to use a freight forwarder to get around the agents high shipping prices. I've got a freight forwarder that can ship stuff to the states for about $10 per kg.

First assumption was that they had the shoe in hand from another sale that fell through and it was cheaper for them to redirect it to me instead of returning to the seller... then I thought it may have been dropped off in person... but now I see it shipped from Phoenix (where there is no drop off). Who knows.
- Got an email that the bid was accepted at 8:34 AM
- Shipped to StockX at 12:39 PM
- Arrived for verification at 12:52 PM
- Verified and shipped out at 10:05 PM

I've had a couple of pair ship from Hong Kong. My neutral gray OG AJ1s shipped from there.

No, I had a pair ship from HK when I bought on GOAT and they were legit. Nikes are sold Worldwide and apparently they have Sneakerheads in Asia as well.

I know there's CSSBuy, PandaBuy and SugarGoo to use for this. There any others you know of? Just trying to list out some options in case people are curious.
Edit: Just remembered that people are having issues with SugarGoo after they updated their site/app.
