Maybe I am too picky with my maroon, but Team Red is closer to Bama crimson than A&M maroon. Dark Beetroot or Bordeaux is the closest to A&M maroon you can get with Nike. They've only had women's sizes for that.

For comparison's sake I put them up next to the bordeaux 1s and an "on-field" A&M baseball hat from adidas. The bordeaux 1s have more purple and are closer to a wine color (hence the name?). The team red dunks have more red in them. The interesting thing is that if you look at the branding guides (https://brandguide.tamu.edu/web/web-color-palette.html and https://brandguide.tamu.edu/visual-style/brand-colors.html), the shoes look closer to me than the hat and the 1s. I'll let yall be the judge.

Good to know. I'm tired of all of the crap leather on so many of the dunks and AJs that I have to see the quality first before buying.
