I got them for Nom but he got the W also. I couldn't cancel in time so they are shipping to me.

Seems like you need them to complete the OG set…

If you want them I can mail to you after they come in. Ups my SNKR account profile for more purchases which seems to lead to more Ws. Maybe not true but can't

I don't collect (my wife might argue that) and I haven't worn anything but running shoes for leisure or sport for the last 20 years. However, back in the day, there are/were several shoe models that I thought were good and for then, combined comfort, (some) durability, and support.

In HS, I started wearing leather Pumas around late in my freshman year and never really stopped. I'd buy 2-3 pair at a time, especially if on sale, and just wear them to school, church (casual times), and where ever else. When they'd start to get worn or no longer cleaned up well, I'd relegate them to bad weather or grunge (not yard work per se, but like go help someone move). Anyway, I probably had a dozen or so pairs in the early/mid '80s.

They looked a lot like this, without the top fluff:



When I was playing tennis semi-competitively, I picked up a pair of Lottos that were pretty decent shoes. My recollection is they were similar to this, but with more synthetic materials rather than leather:



Playing tennis, I eventually got a pair of McEnroes (Wimbledon). I liked the Lottos better. (And the Pumas, for that matter):



When I started officiating basketball, Nike had just released their cross-trainer product. It didn't have the lower hell support I would have liked, but I did like most everything else about the shoe:



I had both of those shoes.

Back when Avia was an actual shoe company rather than a brand of cheap shoes sold by Walmart, I had 2-3 pairs of Avia 800s that replaced the Nike Cross trainers. These were popular among basketball officials at the time. Funny story: a lot of guys were given (and expected to wear) Converse Cons in black but most everyone hated those shoes. So, they took their Avias to a shoe maker and had him sew white leather converse logos into them! In fact, an old SWC official had a guy do it to his old (likely Spotbilt) Ripple Sole shoes from the '60s!!



These were the Cons from that era:



And here are the Spotbilts. My dad had at least one pair. They hurt my feet and shins just looking at them:



I loved playing hoops in these early '90s Nikes:



The only other Nike shoe that I thought (at least at first) was worth a darn was one the Aggie football team wore. I got a pair to wear in softball. They were fine for a while but either wore quickly or just didn't have good all around support. They looked cool, however:



Mine (and the Aggies') were black with the white swoosh.

The only thing I know about Jack Harlow is that he put on the worst NFL halftime performance I have ever seen in my life. Like, when my kids tell me, "Hey dad, we're gonna put a play on for you" bad.



EDIT: The NFL is doing us a favor from blocking this video.

Got these in yesterday and wore them today. I love the 4s and love this particular colorway. The shape, the speckle hits even on the Nike Air branding, just so good. That's now 3/4 of the OG 4s for me, even though the Breds are reimagined.

Looking forward to getting those grape 5s next

I'm going to try and get my little dude the baseball gloves. I preach Kobe to the kids on my team all the time (of growth over results, play for the moment, don't fear losing or chase winning: play to learn, etc.). I think getting him those gloves will help sell that message. Hell, it's how I try to live my life.
