If you have distressed jeans, and distressed sneakers, then you're trying to hard to look homeless.
You need badass shoes and shirt with your distressed jeans, otherwise you are paying extra money to look like a loser.
You can wear a bathrobe, but if you have fire on your feet, all anyone will see is the shoes.
Distressed jeans are cool, distressed shoes are dumb as ****…
They're the same thing, you just like distressed jeans

Really, what year is it!? Is it still 2004?
I don't hate them, as a concept I find it really interesting. But it does raise some questions.MW03 said:The more you wear it, the cleaner and crispier it becomes. It's that simple. pic.twitter.com/URYhUCYh1u

The dirty AF1's aren't for me. It's shocking how many people pay over $600 for some Golden Goose shoes. I feel like I see those things everywhere.

1. Is the "dirt and wear" applied with the intent to make it rub off or is it a UV activated effect?
2. Assuming the "dirt and wear" are applied, they would be come new and clean looking with wear. But after becoming "clean" would they then become worn looking again after continued use? And would that then mean they looked "new" again meaning they looked like they did NIB?
3. What if the break in period or wear is not even? Does that mean that part of the shoe would not look clean? Or would it get clean then dirty again but only in one area? I pronate quite a bit and I tend to brush my feet together when I walk so the inside of me heels often develop stain, especially from the dye of my jeans.
4. If it's UV activated, could it ever become fixed? Think back to the hypercolor tshirts of the 90s. The first one I ever owned was so bad ass (at least I thought so) but my mom ruined it by running it through the dryer and fixing the color change. Could that happen to these?
5. Am I overthinking this?

Do you think you'll wear them? It's as simple as that. These won't have noticeably better materials or anything. These UNC 1s are an OG colorway, did you feel compelled to get them?aTm_bomb said:
I only have one more pair Im getting and then there is nothing on my list until the narduar tartan dunks.
However I feel like I'm supposed to go for the WC 4s bc they are OG. I'm getting sucked into the hype. Is it just me? Same thing happened with the wet cement 4s and I ended up letting them go.
