I'm curious, since the thread is a year old tomorrow...
(1) Have you started collecting sneakers since this thread started?Honestly didn't know this thread existed until about 6 months ago. So… not really. It certainly hasn't hurt my collecting though.
(2) Has your sneaker style changed at all?I used to be a huge Adidas/Ultraboost guy. Don't think I've bought a pair of Ultra's in a year. I would say 7/10 pairs I buy now are Nike.
(3) What's your favorite pick up over the last 12 months? Easy… the AMM 1's. Can't wear them in public without getting stopped by a fellow sneaker head.

One of the things my team and I have bonded over is our love of shoes. I am a huge Jordan guy and have a nice little collection. My guys love shoes but as is the case in this area don't have the means to have a bunch. Well I made them a promise if we got to the 3rd round of the playoffs I would buy each of them whatever pair they wanted within reason. Friday night we won our 2nd round game and made the 3rd round. So this weekend, I did a ton of shoe shopping but it was totally worth it. 1. to see these guys have success they didn't think they could 2. to watch them light up when they get a pair of shoes they have been wanting forever but didn't think they would ever own. We play again tomorrow with a chance at the regional tournament. Play a team we lost to twice in district in OT, so hoping 3rd times the charm.

We are the last stop on I20 before you get to Louisiana. What's more impressive is we went to the semi finals in football, everyone of my guys plays football so we didn't even start basketball season until DEC 13. Most teams started the end of OCT.

(1) Have you started collecting sneakers since this thread started? No, this thread didn't lead me to start collecting since I did already. However, this thread definitely provided opportunities / options / reminders that I would have missed otherwise. So my collection game has certainly improved as a direct result of this thread and it's now definitely my favorite part of texags. It also helped me to lead the push for Sneaker Fridays in my office. 
(2) Has your sneaker style changed at all? I think so. There are some options people have posted on here that I wouldn't necessarily have seriously considered otherwise. What I have actually pulled the trigger on hasn't really changed that much, but I think what I like has expanded quite a bit.
(3) What's your favorite pick up over the last 12 months? I think all around probably the maroon Patta AM1 just in terms of being a little different/unique but also pretty ubiquitous in terms of wearability.
