Yeah, that's what I have read. Was curious if anyone here had played something with them installed.

I let everybody down.
Drove two hours out of my way to go to the Tone Shop in Addison to look at an amplifier. Wound up not buying it, nor did I buy anything else. Not a set of strings, picks, nothing.
Epic fail.

It's like we are living in the wilderness here.

That doesn't count!
The primary difference is the Jazz has a humbucker for the electric tone, and the others have a single coil. Some people also say the Jazz has the better acoustic tones due to the larger surface area of the top. The other differences are the types of acoustic guitars that are modeled. Depending on the switch position, the Jazz models a rosewood dread, mahogany slope shoulder, mahogany jumbo, mahogany small body, or rosewood auditorium. There are also a piezo, piezo crunch (basically a blend with the humbucker), clean electric and overdriven electric available. The five way switch selects a pair of modeled sounds, and a blend knob allows you to pick one of the pair or blend the two. I can't remember what the Tele and Strat model, but I know they're different.DallasTeleAg said:
I've always wanted to play around with one. You'll have to give us some more info on it. I also know there are differences between the Strat, Tele, and Jazz versions, but I don' t know what they are.
What color is it?DallasTeleAg said:
That's not a candy green Custom Shop telecaster.
Please try again.
