I love the films of both, but if I'm trapped on a desert island I'm bringing the Cameron DVD collection over the Fincher collection every time. Just more Rewatchables and still very solid films.

I love T2, but Aliens is a top 5 movie for me.

Reverse those titles for me.

Ok, maybe T2 isn't a top 5 but a top 10.

Morning bump. If you haven't voted in the final four round, vote here.

Will probably cut this off early afternoon unless it's super close.

And that's all she wrote for David Fincher. James Cameron has crowned himself King of the World [or this tournament] once again.

Fincher's last movie, Fight Club, has been terminated. Though it did put up a bit of a fight. (*Pun intended*)

Meanwhile, Aliens continues to tear through this tournament like hot knife through butter. I knew people liked Aliens, but not this much.

Results:

4. True Lies (29%) vs 5. Aliens (71%)

2. The Terminator (58%) vs 2. Fight Club (41%)

And your championship:

The Terminator

vs

Aliens

Vote now!

I will leave this up through Monday afternoon.

"The Game" getting no love, and it's one of my favorite Fincher movies. And I know "Panic Room" is not his most well regarded, but I find it thoroughly entertaining.

These are probably the only two directors that I'll see the movie on their name alone (although Avatar 2+ might test this). Not even Spielberg or Scorcese make that list for me.

I really, really, really hate the fact that I walked into a friend's dorm room about 5 minutes before the end of this movie back in 1997. I think it probably would be one of my favorite movies if the ending hadn't been spoiled for me that first time.

Your champion is Aliens, beating Terminator 70%-30%. (At this point, it's no surprise.)

Thanks all for participating.

I voted for the one where Michael Biehn was the soldier helping the female protagonist and Bill Paxton played the punk that ends up getting killed.

And the female becomes a badass who ends up killing the monster in the end?
