Texags gave me an advert for Dave today.

Welp, definitely not a good start to season 2. These were the worst two episodes of the series by far. Pretty disappointing.

Yeah. I was wondering if it was just me.

All my buddies who watch the show felt the same way. If these were the first two episodes of the series, I would probably be out and never get to episode 3. I'll keep watching bc season 1 was genius and hope it gets better.

It was just pretty depressing. Maybe I identify with his personality too much, but his social anxiety in episode two was giving me anxiety just watching it.

Not that he didn't get dark last season, but there was always a gut busting laugh somewhere to pull you out of it, and these episodes were lacking that.

Ok... so episode 2...

Are those famous women or just models in the pool with Benny? Does that happen or is that a fantasy?

Did he bang the girl he took home or kick her out?

Am I dumb for being confused?

Are there really ants or is he losing his mind?

Two of them were Kendall Jenner and Haley Bieber, don't know about the third.

I thought they were both pretty brilliant and on par with everything last season. But yes, definitely not feel good episodes. The first episode gave me legit anxiety, which was clearly the intention. The show all in all is about Dave's many neuroses and self doubt and they were on full display in the first two.

Whew! Glad I'm not the only one who thought those first two episodes were lackluster. Even the gags I found hilarious last year(F me silly doll), they just rehashed with different sex toys, and his claims to reinvent things.(last season diarrhea, this season masturbation.

Even beaten down by the ants, until as soon as I started typing this I realized the promo ads he had an anteater, so if he buys one for the house, I'll say it could save a pretty poor start to the season.

Loved LD and liked the first season, these two episodes were just not entertaining

Agree with this SP. Gata still seems to be the most relatable to me so far. I think these two episodes can be paraphrased by what he said to Mike in Seoul: "You always sayin funny ****, you're blowing my high I need to get faded"

Mike talking about how gingers are the only race that can be made fun of was pretty hilarious.

I don't think it's a coincidence that they dropped these first two episodes on the same day. With Ally gone, this show kind of drags. Hope to see her come back in Ep. 3

1) I really really disliked Elz as a jerk, big-timing his best friend. I wanted someone to punch him in the face.

2) The line "No Dan, I learned Korean while you were getting me ketchup" was my biggest laugh of Ep 1 and 2.

I have faith that the show still has legs. These first two episodes reminded me of when Entourage was at it's best and then suddenly there was a "Vincent and the boys have some hurdles" episode that kind of brought everything down. Hopefully we start seeing Dave and the show get back to form quickly.

Ep3. I only watched half because I started late. That was odd.

I loved this episode, Chuck. Sheer insanity

This episode was back to the original goofiness of the first season and it was great.

I heard of him a lot, but I'm surprised with his kind of...err...attention seeking behavior he wouldn't be more well known for that.

I checked his Instagram and he seems to be just like he is in the show.

Show business people are weird, man...

Dave makes me feel like I don't love my friends enough...or at least I don't show it.
