One of the upcoming Disney streaming shows is rumored to be Vision and the Scarlet Witch. Originally it was referred to as just Scarlet Witch but they were a package deal from like 1972-1990 so I'm all for it.

FYI: comic book characters always come back.

It's sort of a requirement for publishing more comic books every month.

I think someone has to figure out that Peter is Spider-Man.

Spider-Man spends 99% of his time in NYC. then just happens to show up in DC to save all of his classmates while Peter is MIA.

now they all go to another continent, and spidey just happens to be there again while Peter is MIA.

I'm sure it will get figured out, but he's also now an Avenger. I assume publicly. That changes things a bit.

He's also been spotted in Germany before. And I guess, with nobody to see it, in space?

That's actually a good point. He's obviously based in NY, but that's not uncommon for an Avenger, and his big coming out was overseas. Him being in DC the same time as the class trip is the only REALLY big coincidence.

Am I being sexist or does anyone not care for MJ's attitude/ personality? I realize they're trying to give her more than a pretty face for Peter to love but she seems a bit too in his fave and ball busting. Here's hoping for a more enjoyable Felicia or Gwen.
I find her neither attractive nor compelling.
I much prefer this MJ.

Depending on how the snap is reversed and/or time is turned back he might not have been in space

what's going on with her underarm?

The easiest answer is that they are all trapped in the soul stone. Again, comic have been known to do some really convoluted **** to let the good guys win and next months issue get printed, but I bet they go with an easy explanation here.

While I'm still skeptical of the new MJ's personality, Kirsten Dunst was cringeworthy at times (her personality/dialogue). Way too much of the constant and selfish "damsel in distress" screaming for help. I can see why they'd want to get away from that.

Strong possibility we get at least a post-credits scene of Peter back in NYC to set up Far From Home?

For whatever reason, the only time I've ever found her attractive was in Spider-Man. Otherwise, she's always been meh.

I'm pretty sure they've said that the girl in the new movies isn't MJ. She might share the initials, but they've stated she's not the same character.

I hadn't heard that. Kind of interesting they'd tease the 'MJ' thing in this film so much in that case.

Mary Jane in the comics is freaking awesome. I like what they are trying to do with her in the new films, but I absolutely hate the casting of Zendaya. If Karen Gillan hadn't already been in GotG, that who I'd have wanted. May Elizabeth Winstead would've been good too.

But to be fair, Mary Jane wasn't even in the comics until after high school (at least originally, not sure about the newer takes on it). When they chose to keep this Peter as a teenager, you're not getting a fully developed badass like the MJ everyone thinks of.

No, I think they somehow defeat Thanos from ever getting the stones through time travel shenanigans.

if Thor, Rocket and Antman weren't survivors, i'd almost think a reverse snap would happen where the one's that did survive die for good and the ones that originally got dusted come back.

I really hope they de-Stark the suit. I hated it in Homecoming - the only part of that movie I didn't like. Spiderman doesn't need a ****ing computer talking to him - he has spider sense. He doesn't need extra arms coming out his back - he has spider strength and agility. He doesn't need any of that crap the suit did - he's SPIDERMAN!

i get the sentiment, but the iron spider suit literally saved his life at least twice in infinity war, right?

Agree with this. He's pretty much just Iron Man

That's my point - it did, but it didn't need to. Lazy writing that creates over-lap with Iron Man that's just not needed. His spider abilities should've saved him - for example, web to cover the hole instead of stupid robot spider arms is simple and obvious.

In a vacuum, if this was the only cinematic Spider-Man we had, I would be in agreement that the Stark suit is too much. But seeing as we had the same old suit/spider-sense combo in the previous two franchise iterations, I welcomed something different this go around, and I actually kind of love the Stark suit, "Karen" - the whole thing. No, it's not pure Spider-man, but it has been a ton of fun, IMO.
