3000 Miles to Graceland. That film was horrible.
another weird one to use as a reference point for "terribleness".Noble Men said:
I did not see these movies in the theater
- Event Horizon - Rented the VHS of it back in the day and returned it about 45 minutes later. WTF on that movie
- Billy Elliott - My wife wishes she had never rented it and tried to have me watch it. I still bring it up whenever there is some movie she wants to see that I have never heard of. "Is it as bad as Billy Elliot?"

Wife and I also walked out of an opera in Rudder during an intermission. I think we were given the tickets, though.
Much more willing to leave a show if the tickets are free.
Avatar was not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it was an absolute technical marvel and one of only two movies that I felt really did 3D correctly. What ruined it was terrible writing and a hamfisted environmental message that it just constantly beat you over the head with.Aggie12B said:
I walked out of Avatar. That movie just kept dragging on and on. For the life of me I still can't understand why so many people thought it was a great movie.
I will give you a half blue star. Agree on Natural Born Killers. Garbage movie that was about shock and awe.GiveEmHellBill said:
Nope, but heavily considered two times:
Natural Born Killers. Was in a group of about eight. We all wanted to but no one would take the initiative.
V for Vendetta. Hated every aspect of that film. Still don't know why I stayed.

"Home is Where the Heart is".
Hope Floats. I wasn't naive enough to see that in theatres but one night when I came to bed, my ex was up watching that movie on Netflix. Saw about two minutes of it and realized I wouldn't even be able to fall asleep listening to that garbage.Noble Men said:
About 20 years ago, I was in college dating someone that I thought I would do anything for. She wanted to go see "Hope Floats". I started it and I could not handle it. Weighing my options, I choose to go to the restroom, decided to play a few video games in the arcade, ordered popcorn, coke, nachos, and hot dog.
Came back into the theater about 30 minutes later. My date was confused at the notion that I had stomach trouble that made me miss so much of the movie, but then ordered about 18 things from the concession stands.
A few years later, I had a very similar experience with "Home is Where the Heart is".
Both movies left me wondering, what movie exec watched those things and said, "Yeap, let's put this out for distribution."

what were you expecting based on
a. it's the Farrelly brothers
b. the previews
c. the reviews while some liked it they certainly painted it as what it was
It delivered on exactly what it was and what it was advertised to be - a dumb comedy.
The only reason you maybe should be panned is - why would you go to a movie like this in the first place if those things didn't appeal to you?
Although I guess I should say - I'm a Farrelly brothers fan - but I hated a couple of their movies too. But never enough to walk out they were all about what you should expect from them.

Point being, there were 150 replies, and all of them someone coulda written a 5 paragraph breakdown filled with trailer clips and alleged opening reviews and all kinds of other pointless data telling someone why they were wrong to walk out, but only you did.
