My man! Just when I thought all the normal people had dropped off this thread for train wreck of a show.

I watch every week to cringe & laugh. So many opportunities.
- Whisperers doing the zombie-shuffle even when no zombies around....
- As others have noted, you used to have to cover yourself in blood & guts to infiltrate a herd, and they'd STILL walk up and sniff you and seemingly be poised for attack at any moment. Now, all you need to do is dress up as Slipknot and apparently you're gold.
- Lol at everyone thinking that the building reliance on arrows and slingshots has anything to do with bullets running out. As if the writers of this show think that hard. We have elk in Virginia, for chrissakes.
- Also lol at liberal agenda. Show takes twice as long now that we have a hashtag so brave so strong disabled (deaf) character. So glad I get to watch two characters speak to each other, then watch the sentences repeated via sign language. Or watching deaf chick whip out a spiral notepad while zombie sh*t is hitting the fan so she can write out blurbs. So glad it's hashtag starting a conversation, hashtag advocating for the deaf.
- Similarly, so glad that conversations are being started across the globe since the leader of every tribe/faction is a hashtag so strong so brave female. Even freaking Tara, lol. It's totally believable to see chicks like Tara and Alpha ('bring me mah daw-dah!') barking out orders while white males stand in the background with their hands in their pockets, staring at the ground and kicking at the dirt.
- Haven't been able to follow a conversation in about 5 seasons - "I get it.... I've BEEN there... but it doesn't have to be that way.... I changed... YOU can change....it's what HE would've wanted....and I think.....this is how it's SUPPOSED to be... don't you get it?? People change...WE can change!...etc etc ad nauseum e pluribus unum etc".
- King still talking like we're in Camelot despite him saying earlier he only did it to inspire his people at the time or whatever. Gibberish Trash Lady was able to give up the act, why can't King Rasta?
- Highwaymen stand down because they might get to see The Goonies. And scarf Junior Mints.
- Luckily, some RenFest deal seems to be the answer for everything. To be fair(e), just like in real life.
- I was drinking while watching, but did Neegan actually smooth walk out of his cell, wander around the WD universe, and then lock himself back in? Only pausing for a series of endearing banters with snarky Coral-hat-and-Michonne-sword-clad Judith??

Trying to think of an analogy for this train wreck. I guess it'd be like if The Sopranos suddenly all joined the circus and decided that trapeze artistry was the answer. Or if Breaking Bad decided that raising sheep and hosting a carnival was a thing.

Ugh.

This is what I think every week when I read all of the complaints about how absolutely mind-blowingly, gut-wrenchingly, nerve wrackingly terrible this show is. I just cannot fathom how much it must hurt the brains of those that cannot stand watching it but yet still do every single week.
The show is what it has always been: a cheesy cult horror series that scratches the apocalyptic itch like no other show on tv. Honestly for being on tv for 9 years it is much better than it has a right to be.

If they could come up with some new, amazing, and gruesome way for Henry and Lydia to die in the next few weeks, I'd strongly consider personally sending the writers of that episode a solid chunk of money.

Honestly though, after several blah, mediocre, boring seasons of WD it felt so good. WD started great, but has turned into a hokey SciFi type show. Low budget effects and writing. Can't believe there's still an after show to analyze all the nonsense that happened in the previous episode.

I love the TD opening monologue. Last week was the first time I watched the whole show. I ff thru a lot of the fan questions but the folks on the couch are usually interesting. I watched last week mainly due to the 2 new characters, Beta and highwayman. I've never heard of the Beta actor, but Highway man was in one of the FX Fargo seasons. And the deaf lady is deaf in real life. Henry can't die soon enough.

Mine did three times! Also in talking dead! DTV

They managed to string 2 good episodes in a row. Michone shutting out apocalypse friends because of psycho old friend is a stretch, but they did it well.

Little disappointed in the preview due to reading the books, but will wait to give judgement.

It's more like going to commercial without notice. It's happened a few times for us tonight. Directv, but I think they're trying to trick folks out of ff thru commercials.

Same here - DTV. I was also just watching Return of the Jedi on TNT and it did the same thing. A commercial overlaid Vader tossing the emperor off the ledge, then it cut back to the movie.

I just biched about it on DirecTV's customer service chat. They said it's a widely reported issue tonight and they are working on a fix. They also offered to credit my bill $10. So if you want an easy $10 credit that took about 2 minutes, just spend a minute or two here reporting it.

Do they have the heads? That would have been the PERFECT S9 cliffhanger. But the Whispers are too known at this point. Alpha isn't going to be able to casually walk around the fair. Too gruesome? I mean, they killed a little blonde haired blue eyed girl on this show before.
