Trainwreck was more of the lead up to this season. I would agree this season has been much better...but much better is relative to how awesome the early seasons were.

not sure what anyone ever expected from this other than popcorn tv. it seems to hit that bar fine imo. lots of stupid crap to make fun of, but entertaining enough for me to find 40-45 minutes to watch at some point each week.

It took me 9 seasons to finally figure this show out.
There are FIVE 'personalities' that the writers just take turns rotating through all the actors. The characters are simply 'skins' for these 5 personalities:
1. People can change
2. People cannot change
3. We need to help people
4. We shouldn't help people
5. I will always make the most illogical and detrimental decision both to myself and to the team
I think that every character in this show has been rotated through those skins. Except Daryl.

Epic savagery ending for an episode ever tonight. Enid, Tara, Henry, and seven other random characters all died tonight. Heads on pikes just like the comic book series.
Now that's an ending I can get behind.

I haven't watched this episode yet, but this dumbass theme of a dough bodied middle aged woman being some evil killer is just too much. Give me a break. They'd cut her in half in the first real battle.

I think Tara should've deserved a better ending than that but then again she was friends with Glenn so she would likely have a similar death shock as his. I'm fine with Enid and Henry gone. Lydia is basically the new Enid who in turn is based off of the comic book version of Sophia Peletier.
All of this was Henry's fault.

She was a boring character played by a bleh actress. They tried, and failed, to make her a key lead. In the end, she wasn't good enough be to the shocking final head.
So Chris Hardwick confirmed if you DVR it, it did not record the whole episode.

Yeah mine cut off at the commercial break just after Alpha shhhh'd Lydia in the movie. Thought it seemed weird so I went to the AMC app and figured out quickly there were still 20 minutes to go.
yeah, head highwayman's run was way too short. seemed funny but we hardly knew ya.
