I think the first time we saw that, it ended up being a National Guard helicopter crew that the Governor killed. But you're correct that, since then, we've seen at least one (maybe more) helicopters that haven't been followed up on. But I'd be willing to bet they never do get followed up on.

Well I finally got around to watching first two episodes. Almost stopped half way through 1st one until I discovered the season 9 secret. Place on the double arrow fast forward replay mode. Works great.

I actually think this season has been decent so far.

Ok episode. Family picnic was boring, but some good tension.

I wish Gabriel would have agreed to go with Jadis. This show desperately needs a separate compelling storyline.

So how do they write Rick out? Kill him or something else so that there is the possibility of him returning in season 20 of the show that never ends?

The whole announcing it is just weird to me. I guess they have to try something. Ratings, while still fine comparatively, are at an all-time low.

Him leaving the show was announced quite awhile ago. Why not build it up?

So was Maggie though right? They haven't mentioned her leaving at all.

There's rumors out there, but don't believe anything confirmed. Unlike Grimes who they have publicly said that he was leaving for quite awhile.

For Rick's death, my money's on Maggie making a move on Negan and it accidentally killing Rick or Rick taking a bullet for Negan.

And not only do we find out it was ricks last episode but also the last episode of the series. Everyone wins!!!

It was all actually Lori's dream. She wakes up and checks on Rick taking a shower.

Tonight was a legit good episode.

-The Michone intro was one of the best things I've seen here in a while.
-Good tension with Maggie and Michone/Negan
-Fight with Rick and Darryl was a bit old, but they ended it quickly
-Should have fleshed out the Carole v Neganitte fight a bit, but it was still ok
-Rick gets hurt by a mundane thing. That's good.

The problem? I'm bored. I found myself phone surfing during what would have previously been a must-watch scene. Am I alone here??

I phone surf a lot the last couple of seasons. But still watch. I'm disappointed with Jadis' story. What was the point in keeping her around?

Yep. Tonight was a good, but slow, movement back towards good Walking Dead. Best episode yet this season, but that isn't saying a whole lot.

I don't mind Jadis. They could make that storyline really interesting given her connection to the helicopters we don't know much about.

This season has been the best so far ever since they arrived at Alexandria.

When they had the montage of Rick playing with Shane's daughter it reminded me of Carl's last episode because he did the same thing.

I wonder if they'll kill off Rick quick or he dies in a hospital bed? The show will be interesting moving forward since the main character is gone.

Yeah, the A and B thing was interesting. Hopefully they'll continue that storyline.

Amazing how that pit had been zombie-free for about eight years until right after Rick and Daryl fell in.

It actually looked freshly dug by an excavator.

When they were in the pit talking about dying for people, had a feeling they were going to have Rick die saving people, or at least trying to by leading the zombies away.

Are you saying that the zombies are setting traps now?

This show is really starting to suck. Makes me sad.
