I would argue that duel of the fates might be the best song in the Star Wars saga. It is my personal favorite

It isn't an argument. It is the best song. Considering how amazing the rest of the scores are that is a pretty impressive feat.

Cool thing I learned at a panel at Celebration this year (on the TPM score). The notes which are repeated throughout the track by the strings and wind section -- they're the same notes as the Force theme, but played in reverse. (And minus the first note.)

It was crazy going to Galaxys edge and Harry Potter land in the same trip and realizing how that man has defined the childhoods of billions.

I just returned from my trip to Disney. I cannot imagine trying to fit in Universal/HP alongside Disney/GE.

We were there for the entirety of Thanksgiving week, so the crowds were huge. We did GE first thing on Saturday, first day in the parks. Holy balls, they nailed Star Wars. People queued at the rope prior to the park officially opening, and at some point, the park started blasting Star Wars-like music (would love to know if JW composed it, sounded right at home for a Star Wars movie) and the rope dropped. The music seemed to be marching people along the path to GE. When we finally got there (it's at the back of the park), we came through a tunnel and there we were, on some rocky-type planet fully immersed in Star Wars. Stormtroopers all over the place. An A-Wing. An X-Wing. The Millennium Falcon. Kylo Ren's shuttle. Droids everywhere. Rocky outcroppings that looked like something you'd see on Geonosis or Tatooine.

The Falcon ride was awesome (although I ended up being ticked at the wife, as we were in the queue while they were handing out the station cards, we ended up behind a family of 4 when there was another station we could have been first in line, and we would have been pilots, grrrr, ended up in the engineering seats, which was still awesome but I really wanted to pilot that bad boy). And no, I didn't get a chance to do the ride again, as the crowds were far larger than anyone in my party wanted to wait in a second time. Wish they had opened the other attraction prior to my trip, but it's scheduled to open Dec 5. Oh well.

Wanted to get a lightsaber but the damn crowds made even getting into the store a massive undertaking. Did get a thermal detonator Coke.

And I will say that as much as I loathe the movie Avatar, Disney nailed that bird-flying ride.

But after a full week at Disney, I am spent on that whole thing. Good luck trying to fit in both of these parks in the same trip.
