Dolby Cinema is amazing but it doesn't hold a candle to true IMAX 2D. That, and with Christopher Nolan's prologue for Tenet will be playing before all IMAX showings of TROS, IMAX is a no-brainer, IMO.

I've only been to one Dolby Cinema, and the image quality and sound were absolutely fantastic. And the seat vibrations added a whole other layer to the experience. And you're unlikely to find better / more comfy theater seats anywhere.

That said, the IMAX screen is still bigger.

So it really just depends on what you want to focus on.

I've never really understood if we have a true IMAX 2D 70mm theatre in Dallas. I think Cinemark on Webb Chapel is but don't really know.

I bought a ticket for a late showing on opening night at a Dolby Cinema just in case I get stuck with a work deadline and miss the 6pm showing. So there is a chance I will get to compare the Cinemark XD with the AMC Dolby Cinema on the same night if I make the 6pm show. The sound of the Dolby Cinema will probably blow away the Cinemark

On the Cinemark app they show only one 3D showing of TROS each day for that theatre, the rest are 2D

Yes, but it (and Imperial March) both sound like they were mixed specifically for the trailer.

Though, they were my 2 most wanted track appearances in ROS, so I really hope they're in there. I'd bet on both.
