This is such a great show of a bunch of f-ups trying to vye for power that is out of their collective reach. Even if one of them attains what they are trying to achieve, they are too much of f-ups to garner their own success.

Sure seems like it!! Another great episode. A little slower tonight but everyone can't be 100 mph. Loved the ending when we find out what Rhea was up to and we get the sense that the kids are going to team up against her and Logan. Love this twist!

They are definitely setting that up. Which is good, because this episode was a lot of what I didn't like about Season 1 when they endlessly **** on Kendall. Don't get me wrong, good episode, but god damn.

I didn't feel like it was a slow episode although that seems to be the general consensus. I loved the snippet of Greg in the bathroom; it would be kind of nice to delve into his character a little more. And it was so fitting to see Kendall put that money through the door. All his life, money is what you use to solve things. I am getting tired of seeing Roman and Geri together.

It was super funny, but I didn't quite get what Greg was doing in the bathroom. He recorded himself, obviously, but for what purpose?

He was practicing recording for when him and Tom were on the balcony burning the papers. That is why he was making the extra Greg-y statements trying to get Tom to finish the sentence and implicate himself.

Ok, that makes so much more sense. The way the scene opened it sounded like he was rehearsing giving himself up to the feds, and then I didn't know what was going on. So do we think he actually recorded that convo?

I want to believe he did and that this is step #27 out of ??? that ends with him in Logan's spot.

Very curious to see how the Tom and Greg situation plays out. I'm kind of scared this is setting up the downfall of Greg. But, I also don't want to see Tom get screwed either.

He 100% recorded it but was unable to get Tom to say anything which is why he panicked and grabbed the paperwork.

Yea I really thought Tom was going to pick up on the fact he was recording because greg's statements were so clearly intending to state that they were destroying evidence and then he would look at Tom and hope he would say something to incriminate himself. Seems like the tape would also be bad for Greg if he ever gave it to authorities, so I'm not sure how much leverage it would have actually gave him.

I was glad to see Jesse Armstrong get the Emmy for best writing. Definitely thought he deserved it. I also forget that Will Ferrell is credited as a producer on this show - probably has a lot to do with the great comedy.

Some of my favorite lines of the episode:

Ken - "What are we, octopus, giving reacharounds to every fish in the ocean?"
Roman - "Relax, branzino-porn man."

Ken - "Do you think they're ****ing?"
Roman - "Oh, god, can you imagine? Like a rhino ****ing a hummingbird,"

Tom - "That interview is going to be like slipping into a bubble bath. Just light a scented candle in there, put some Eagles on, and start playing with myself."

Gregory - "I got a haircut even though I didn't need one, I guess I just wanted someone to touch my head."

Interesting how Rhea quickly tries to dismiss Shiv to Logan. "She thinks she's smarter than she is."

I just rewatched the first episode. I really forgot a lot; that first episode I was so focused on keeping track of everyone. I know I could watch more and really catch up on what I missed. It was greatness.

Just flew through the series and caught up last night.

I really like it but don't quite love it. It's not in the top tier of shows but could be. I like that it's finally Shiv bs her dad, as she's the only decent child and choice for an heir. Ken is such a ****** and weakling from the very first scene of the series on. Roman is nails entertainment wise but no heir.

It occurred to me yesterday watching that this series is kind of unique in that it's filthy yet we haven't seen a single bit of nudity. Even at Tom's bachelor party there was nothing shown.

"My boy Squiggle cooked up this beat for me."

You knew that would be followed by a wild ride. L to the OG!

Between that and Misbehavin', HBO is certainly putting out the Sunday night bangers.

Roman buying the wrong team was also just so hilarious and amazing. I'm right there with you Spilner, this was probably his best episode yet. Just so many fantastic one-liners, even more than usual. Another great episode all around. Who had "Shiv giving up the company to Rhea in order to screw her" on their prediction card? Because I sure didn't.

That said, I'm starting to get the feeling that this might very well be the end of the road for Logan. I reeeeeaaaaally hope I'm wrong, and again, I feel like we need at least one more season before he's gone, but a trip to his childhood home in the same episode where he exclaims, "I'm not dead yet," finally names a successor, along with all the stuff with his brother, has me worried.

Can't believe we only have two episodes left...

I think secretly paying off the family of the victim last episode went a long way toward erasing his guilt. In his mind, money fixes everything. I did assume he'd still be with the Pierce girl, and it was odd that he'd already moved on from her, but dropping this new one because she said "awesome" too many times, and then ghosting her like that, felt incredibly on brand and very much "Kendall."

It definitely feels like Logan is on the way out. I said it earlier in the season, but now with how they seem to be hitting all these points about his childhood and past, it really seems like they're wrapping him up as a character.

Unless it's a fake-out by the writers.

Let's everyone give it up for MC Awkward AF, come on, that was painful in the best way.

Are we to assume that Logan's brother is potentially the guy backing the whistleblower? He specifically talked about cruises in their last interaction, that doesn't feel accidental.

This was an excellent Roman episode too. His conversation with Jerry, "should we get married?" I bought your childhood team. His face when recording the voiceover at the studio. "I think I said I love you dad 5 times, doubling my lifetime count."

Preview for next week show's Tom in front of Congress...Christmas is coming early. I can only hope Greg gets called too, it will be so uncomfortable, can't wait.

My favorite show on TV, the hits keep coming, I love it.
