How long do you want to ignore this user?
Friday Night Lights,

Halftime speech with Coach Gaines:

"I want you to close your eyes, and I want you to think about Boobie Miles, who is your brother. And he would die to be out there on that field with you tonight. And I want you to put that in your hearts.

Boys, my heart is full. My heart's full."

Hit me hard bc I watched this my senior year, and I got hurt too and was out for the rest of the season.

All the feelings.

Surprised Armageddon hasn't made an appearance yet in he thread

Gaaahhhh....me too....at the end when he thinks shadow won't make it and he does...i still cry every time. Black beauty got me hard around that same time.

Went to see a dog's purpose in theatres and saw my husband cry for the first time ever in over 5 years. Also saw my 7yo cry for the first time at a movie. They were both mad at me for having picked the movie. I had read the book years earlier and loved it and I did not prepare them for what was to come.

First movie ever was the end of Terminator 2 when I was about 7 or 8.

Probably not the first, but I can't really remember crying in any other movies or shows. The scene in Band of Brothers where Buck Compton breaks down and had to leave the battlefield hits me hard, for some personal reasons.

Yeah, I don't recommend you read the book then and learn about the real Boobie Miles then.

Friday Night Lights.

Specifically when Boobie gets in the car with his grandfather after leaving the locker room and when Charles Billingsley (Tim Mcgraw) hugged Don on the field after the loss in the title game.

Still gets me every time.

Not a movie, but the scene where Saracen is burying his father in Friday Night Lights. Kid should have gotten an Emmy for that scene alone.
Most powerful TV episode of all time.

Part that got me there was Tuff talking to Kelly in the barn. The ride was just cool....those two talking it out killed me.

I don't remember the exact first movie, but I definitely remember Black Hawk Down's final scene being a gut punch with Eversmann talking to Smith, followed with the shot of him walking away, Gen. Garrison and Eversmann look exchanged, and the names of the fallen with the narration.

I don't really remember for sure, but I know this was certainly one of the first.

OLD YELLER flat out tore me up. Cut to recent times. DUNKIRK had a similar effect. I was way disappointed it didn't get Best Picture.

First was probably something like Where The Red Fern Grows.

Recently, Only the Brave got me good. The part where Jeff Bridges has to inform all the families.

Yep, Where the Red Fern Grows. Dang, getting a little lump in my throat thinking about those coon dogs.

Not the first movie I cried in but definitely the one that stands out. Marley and me. The ending when they're in the vet's office and they're hugging him while he's laying on the table. Jennifer Aniston's acting in that scene gets me every time.

Rocky II. A guy from nothing takes his best shot and knocks out the champ. The slow motion as the ref goes through the ten count... Cinema at its finest!

Pretty sure I didn't cry first time watching this as a kid on VHS... But as an adult watching it for the X number of times... Niagra Falls!

Related to this, it doesn't make me cry, but I still get chills every time Adrian tells him to win. The score kicks in with the bell perfectly, then "Well what are we waiting for?! Take us!"

Ernest Goes to Camp.

Ernest accidentally sold off the camp to the evil capitalists and was shamed by everyone he cared about. He walked off in the rain and sang a sad song and i bawled while my fellow 2nd grade buddies i was having a sleepover with were already asleep.

Then 10 minutes later a cherry bomb was placed in a toilet and launched via catapult and i smiled again.

I thought I was the only one.

Where the Red Fern Grows. Roughly 40 years ago. Summer camp with about 40-50 10-12 year old boys. All bad asses. Camp *******s showed the film but had the decency to let us leave with the lights out.

I can't remember, but it was probably either Ol' Yeller, or Where the Red Fern Grows.

I don't know that I've ever cried in a movie where a person died, but give me a dead dog and the water works begin

P.S. Glad I'm not the only one with pet feels
