That's exactly the issue though. This episode was awesome in the "holy ****" type of way, and it's a crazy ending to the story.

It may even be in line with what GRRM has planned. I'm sure there are other examples of stories where a main protagonist becomes an antagonist at the end, but they may not have been drawn out as long as this story. I have to imagine that GRRM will do it in a more gradual way though or at least do it at a point that makes sense. After the battle is won was the time, or are we supposed to think it has been her plan since maybe Missandei died? Also, I could've seen her burning the Red Keep and killing civilians in the process, but she burnt the city first.

Episode was incredible. The Hound fight was the best, such a great ending. Sad that Jaime ended the way he did, but at least he got to take out Westerosi Bam Margera.

I've been a defender of the show. I'm off the bandwagon. That is exactly how I would have written the show if I found out the GRRM molested my children and wanted to piss off his fans.

Even the wife thought this was a bad episode, and she's a casual watcher. **** story telling when you're getting pulled out of the action asking "Why would the character do that?"

And Cersei better really be dead. I was really disappointed that Jamie didn't kill her himself, but as long as she's really dead I'm good. He wasn't going to survive those stab wounds anyway.

You can be disappointed I guess but *****ing and moaning about it aint gonna do a damn bit of good. There was no way this was season was going to thrill everybody anyway. It's a TV show.

Qyburns death was great.

Also shoutout to the amazing Ramin Djawadi. Worked in all the major themes beautifully into this episode.
