I'm wondering just how the survivors are going to feel. I mean l, they ****ing got slaughtered saving the world and half the *******s in it didn't even help. Freaking quarter of a million bodies to clean up.

No armies left. Probably be ok if they never killed another living thing.

But no way to let squabbling *******s continue.

I'd find a way to sneak a dragon into all the lords bedrooms and roast their asses, then March every other ******* on the planet to winterfell with a shovel and make them clean it all up.

Yea, was interested to hear after the episode that they had set it in their minds for years that Arya was going to kill the NK.
no they said they knew for the past 3 years that it would be Arya which would line up with when they ran out of book based material and spoke with GRRM to get an outline of how it would end. So GRRM likely told them it would be Arya

I thought not having the epic one on one fight was great. Use your numbers and just bury your enemy. Just about everybody the AoD loses can be replaced by one of the newly dead , and it worked too. No need to risk WWs or NKs. NK saw Jon kill a WW at Hardhome. Use the cannon fodder. Almost worked too if it hadn't of been for those meddling kids.

Ok, I got the dead pool better than 50/50

I blew the call on the prophecy and who would kill the NK

I nailed the call on the NK and the WW army of the dead being resolved at the BoW. Booo-yaaaaa.

On to the GOT.

Oh wait....I was skewered about Lady Mel. I said that the BoW was her destiny. Her end. Her place to die. That she would factor in strongly. And I was roundly slapped down over it. I'm looking at you Zombie Jon Snow.

Mel's entire arc was the true war. Not KL. Not the GOT. Eat your crow, I'm eating mine.

Can't Beric be the Azor Ahai? I haven't read the books, but he carried a flaming sword and saved Arya, who ended up killing the NK. As Melissandra said, the Lord of Light sent him to serve a purpose and he fulfilled it. Sounds like the prophecy. From all I have read online, he doesn't have to necessarily be the same person as the prince that was promised. They can be two different people.

I really want to watch this episode again but A) I have to go to work in the morning and b) I know this episode will never be the same watching it again. It's like a second viewing of Usual Suspects. Yes you'll get to pick up on a few things but with the ultimate twist being resolved it's all rather pointlesss

yeah so this. Dothraki were decimated. Seems most of the Unsullied were as well. KotV as well. Not too many left. But two full grown dragons and whatever they can pull together still gives Dany/The 'Noth the upper hand iMO.

I still think the GC bails on them and Cersei hits ultra level BSC desperation mode and wants to firebomb the city.

My favorite scenes

1) The reveal that NK and Bran are the same person. I mean wow, you guys were right! When NK looks down at Bran and cries that frozen tear and Bran touches his cheek and says "It's all right ... Bran." I about lost it.

2) The Time Travel: WOW, so well done. I thought they were really all going to die, and then the first time portal opened, and out come Robert, Renly, and Stannis all smiling with their arms around each other. And then Jon hears a familiar voice that says "Lord Snow, on your left!" and boom! There's Alliser Thorne, just as crabby and *****y as you remember.

3) I mean obviously Howland Reed showing up on the dragon made out of pure yellow sunshine with wielding Dawn in his hands. Thankfully I had the closed captions on so you can hear him call out in High Valyrian "May Aegon and Danerys rule these 7 kingdoms for a thousand years!"
