Yep. Littlefinger gave it to Bran, who gave it to Arya.
She then used it to slash Littlefinger's throat.

Well, that's really kind of the problem in not finishing the novels and leaving it to HBO. Everyone knows that GRRM sat down with a very small number of people from HBO and outlined "how it all ends". But if the guy couldn't even finish TWOW in the nearly eight years since a DWD, I have a very hard time believing he could document to HBO how to finish out the arcs of most of the characters (sans Jon and Dany) to any degree of significance.Belton Ag said:
Doubt GRRM and HBO would spend all that storytime developing her character just to off Littlefinger and then fade away.
Better than even odds she plays a massive part in winding this thing up.

I just looked at the season 8 photos again and it appears Sansa has taken the black.

Interesting. She doesn't seem the type.
"Bland ending"? Chuckle. These folks seemed to enjoy it well enough.Urban Ag said:
Agreed it just seemed like a bland ending for the guy that engineered an entire continent tearing itself apart. Oh well.
Isn't that BES's video. He make any money of the 1.6 million views?G Martin 87 said:"Bland ending"? Chuckle. These folks seemed to enjoy it well enough.Urban Ag said:

Brienne is huge.Quote:
Clegane would have cut Brienne in half
So is Clegane. Put the biggest female boxer in the ring with a medium sized male boxer, and she'd still get crushed. It's just the nature of how we evolved over millions of years.Brian Earl Spilner said:Brienne is huge.Quote:

Bruce Lee said he would get destroyed by Mohammad Ali. The same principle applies here, IMO.Ol Jock 99 said:
You just described Brienne.
The female fighters in GoT, and there aren't many, typically rely on speed, not strength.
There is no way in hell. The US Women's national team gets routinely destroyed by male high school aged teams in scrimmages (like 5-0). The Williams sisters each got destroyed by a mediocre (professional) tennis player. Katie Ledecky, who has been blowing away her competition in the 400m freestyle would lose by 15 seconds to men. Trans men (converted to women) are destroying their competition every sport they try (like wrestling). You take the best female MMA fighter and put her up against a professional male of the same weight, height, etc. and she would get destroyed.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Nobody said he's not. But he's not that much bigger than Brienne to be able to cut her in half. (If he was even fast enough.)
In the real world, it would be a relatively equal fight, just like it was in the show.

Is there any crossover between men and women in fencing? That would probably be the closest to skill with a weapon like the swords used in GoT. Sheer strength/speed isn't the full equation in this conversation.
I do agree with everything you said, but I wonder where technical skill with a weapon comes into play.
For example, a woman could make way more three point shots than LeBron in a shooting contest, but would get smoked in one on one.
I'm not sure about your question on Fencing. However, I do not think fencing is very similar to Glegane and Brianne's fight. They were wearing armor and swinging heavy swords and punching each other in the face a lot.redline248 said:

Is this just an open 3 point contest or is Lebon playing defense on her? Huge difference. And yes, we have ourselves a good ole fashioned derail here!
