It's like they're having a brainstorming session but instead of just throwing random ideas on the white board, they're announcing them to the public.

Has this been discussed?
Apparently MoviePass is limiting users to choosing between two films per day
I was wondering why suddenly I only had two options at large theaters. At least Mission Impossible is one now...
If this is how it's going to be going forward how the hell was this not disclosed in the apology email or the change of services email?

slender man is a horror film based on an internet "meme" from 10-15 years ago.WoMD said:WoMD said:SeattleAgJr said:

Oops, I spoke too soon. MI is no longer an option at any theater in the entire city/region of SF. Now I have to choose between The Meg and Slender Man (what the hell is that anyway?).
Guess Ill be "seeing" both of those movies and walking over to the movie I actually want to watch after buying the ticket...

The Reddit forum is full of a bunch of people who are all terminating their accounts affected today.

You could see a bunch of movies Monday thru Wednesday but today only two.

Blackkklansman nowhere to be found.
Guess I'm watching The Meg.

Seems like only 1-2 movies will be enabled per day. (At least until the 8/15 update kicks in.)
Really hoping all this crap disappears after the update.
That's what I'm seeing as well. Only luck we have is with Studio Movie Grill who works with MoviePass and you can do e-ticketing. Always able to get tickets there.Wicked Good Ag said:
Not a single movie in our area is available even though at 9:00 all of them were. Only one that is "not supported" we have already seen. Can't even get a ticket for some random one to switch. I assume it will be this way until the 15th
This one will not recover. There is no way it will ever be profitable, and no one wants o throw good money after a bad idea.Sex Panther said:
Never heard of Robin Hood but I was actually thinking of buying some shares this week since they're like under a nickel right now.
Guessing it would be throwing my money away, but at one point Sirius was this low too. And now they are at almost $7 a share.
I am betting by this weekend.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Robinhood delisting HMNY.
The end is near.
At least finally today we can see MI Fallout instead of Slenderman or Meg...Wicked Good Ag said:
8:20 all movie starts available. Literally 8:21 drops to just MI Fallout at all BCS theaters
Agreed. I would even pay $20 if they could make it like AMC's and give us 3 movies a week and allow e-ticketing at all chains and include 3D and IMAX.AgFB said:
I guess raising the price by $5/mo and keeping the same open movie model was not an option discussed? Because apparently every option discussed was sent to me via email at one point or another, no matter how viable.
I would easily pay $20/mo for the unlimited/no restriction service.
I think they still lose money.AgFB said:
