Texas A&M entered the weekend at Oklahoma as the nation's best pitching staff at limiting the free pass, but after issuing 21 in Norman, there are new questions surrounding the Maroon & White. The answers that Michael Earley & Co. find over the next few weeks could tell the story of 2026.

What a wacky weekend in Norman.

Entering the three-game set with the Sooners, no pitching staff in the country had been better at preventing free bases than Texas A&M. However, after 21 walks or hit by pitches (10 in the rubber game), Michael Earley's staff boarded the plane home yesterday afternoon, disappointed but not discouraged, down but not out. They likely returned with different questions about their team than when they left College Station last Thursday.
