As Deadpool once again rants about how the only X-Men characters we appear to see are Colossus and Negasonic, there's a quick shot of the current X-Men movie team meeting in a room as Beast (Nicholas Hoult) quietly closes the door before Deadpool can notice. I'm not into superhero/comic book movies at all. But I saw the first Deadpool based on word of mouth and loved it, and then saw the new one last night. I didn't catch or understand a lot of the jokes and references, so I don't even know what exactly I'm missing at times, but even so, this movie is as fun and entertaining as just about anything I've seen in recent memory. Easily as enjoyable as the first one, for me.

The more graphic deaths and stuff were hilarious, and I'm not into gore. But this kind of gore, where it's intentionally over the top and funny, yes.

The skydiving scene was one of the funniest scenes ever.

Deadpool's jokes throughout the entire movie were fantastic. Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest people alive. I've been a huge fan of his even back when he had his sitcom.

I loved it. You don't need to understand all the intricacies of the comic world to enjoy the movie. I can only imagine that it's even funnier and smarter for those of you who fully understand every little reference.

Yea, I hadn't see "Logan" , so I went and watched it after and the references made more sense. But yea, the beauty of this character is that you don't really have to have much background on anyone or anything to enjoy it.

Didn't read the whole thread, but I assume it's already been brought up that the Vanisher was Brad Pitt?

I turned to my wife in the theater to ask her if it was but didn't know for sure until I checked IMDB.

All around I thought it was a great, fun movie experience. I'll see as many of these as they want to make.

I've seen the movie genius. Protecting spoilers in the movie is a courtesy we should all extend to other readers of the board. You'll notice the mods created a forum feature just for this.
