Henry Cavill (Superman) had to go in for JL reshoots with a mustache he grew out for a different movie. The mustache was removed from his face in post-production and the quality of the CGI was glaringly awful.
Paramount refused to let Cavill shave his mustache he had grown for M:I6 and so WB had no choice but to attempt to CGI out the mustache. WB even offered to pay Paramount for the CGI budget to turn his mustache into a full beard for M:I6 (apparently it's easier to add facial hair than to remove it), but Paramount refused.

If this story is true, it was a d*ck move on Paramount's part.

In the end, it's Cavill that takes the brunt of the jokes about it.
lol i don't think i was blasting Cavill...everything I stated was an objective fact. Just trying to explain the context of the Deadpool joke is all

Disney is able to digitally create believable CGI versions of a young RDJ, Michael Douglass, Carrie Fisher, and resurrect a dead Peter Cushing, but DC can't remove a damn mustache.

If we didn't get Untitled Deadpool Sequel I still felt like there was a chance they actually would name it Deadpool 2: Electric Boogaloo. Deadpool makes 100% sense to actually put those words in the title, they failed us.

saw a couple of articles indicating that the feedback from the initial test screenings was not all that positive.

not sure how reliable early feedback like this is, but i'm still pretty stoked about the sequel.

Edit: Almost on cue, there's now feedback calling the initial feedback false and that both test screenings were positively received.

so either the initial cut of the movie was crap, OR....

this is yet another genius marketing ploy by those guys and sometime next week, we'll see a viral video of these so called "test screeners" and deadpool comes in and beats the crap out of them until they give it a positive review
