That said, with Deadpool, Logan, and Legion I think they've shown that at this point these should be character driven pieces primarily about one character. There are interesting character arcs to portray, but the group dynamics has gotten in the way. Keep it to one, maybe two main characters, and dive into their flaws and what makes them tick. Granted, that isn't the easiest thing to pull off.
And, no way we're getting that with the upcoming X-Men and New Mutants though.
