I never post the night of an episode before I get a chance to re-watch, but DAMN my heart was pounding 10x more than the epic battle last week. Jon Targaryen, Rightful King of the Andals has been CONFIRMED?! I'll post my full thoughts tomorrow but damn...that was an astounding episode.

If Arya and Sansa don't have a legit discussion about that letter I'll be pissed.

I know Gendry favors a war hammer because he's a smith but does anyone else remember this line from King Robert:

I mean, Robert was known for his use of a war hammer, it's a nice nod to show that he is his father's son...as well as making sense that he wouldnt know how to use a sword.

annulment is canceling the first marriage as if it never happened. The second part of the line was a marriage to another person. So it's likely job is not a *******, but his parents are still a stark and targaryean

rhaegar getting the annulment in dorne to his wife from dorne THEN getting remarried to a girl from the north...

Also, this whole bring a wight to Cersei to broker an armistice seems way too risky. I dunno how they get a "live" wight to KL and get it in front of Cersei without her killing anyone. Even if they do that, she's not going to believe them or abide by the armistice. The good guys better try their best to see any of Cersei's backstabbing coming or else it's gonna seem really dumb. Anyone with half a brain has to realize Cersei won't back down, play nice, or give any quarter.

Also should note that Jorah is still trapped in the friend zone. She gives him friendly hugs then turns to eye-****ing at Jon. Jon gets his sword and his woman.

And Sam noped on out of the citadel before learning about his dad and brother.

Means he's the legitimate son to the heir to the throne. Once the heir has a son, they become the subsequent heir, not the oldest surviving sibling (Dany)

This means that Dany is now expendable. She can't be the legitimate Queen of Westeros. My prediction is that she will die in Season 8.

Loved that wink-and-nod to canon. Robert basically ended his eponymous Rebellion when he killed Rhaegar with his warhammer at the Ruby Ford.
