To answer your "Turbo" question, back in season 2 when Fitz was a little slower, I think Mac called him Turbo ironically. Nickname just stuck.

Well his name is Jeffrey, and when the clip came out there was speculation that he was going to be Jeffrey Mace (or a take on the character). But I don't remember it being rumored that he was an Inhuman.

According to wiki the inhuman bit is new, specifically for agents. The character was originally someone called the Patriot and spent time being Captain America, and had no actual super powers.

I'm not a comic reader either, but looking at the wiki he wasn't an enhanced or Inhuman character in the comics. It appears he was an "exception athlete" and also took up the mantle of Captain America sometime after WWII.

I think it's fair to say that if he is Jeffrey Mace that they are doing their own version of the character or it might be a completely new character. If he is Jeffrey Mace they could tie him in as a relation to Thaddeus Ross. Besides him being a powered person being a reason he got the job, Thaddeus would be another reason.

With Ward gone, we lost that family angst we had in the earlier seasons so I could see them going this route by having Thaddeus Ross cameo and them clashing over something. Probably over the continued rogue element of Inhumans/enhanced individuals operating outside the bounds of SHIELD's monitoring. It might also make for an interesting cameo if they have William Hurt show up later in the season as a tie in to bring SHIELD back into the light.

I know, I was surprised they are taking a week off so early on. It reminds me of she Star Wars Rebels had so many weird breaks during its first season.

It's my fault. I've been doing a major netflix binge to catch up on AoS, and I called a buddy of mine to give me an extra week.

Wouldn't surprise me if they're having to pace the episodes until November when Dr. Strange comes out. There is probably some type of tie in that they have to have the timing right on the release of the episodes.

It will probably be largely ignored, as possibly the first movie to be affected by it would be Spider-Man depending on the scale of events. I'm thinking that it will likely be more important around the time of the next Avengers movie and Black Panther. I don't see it being important to GOTG 2 or Thor 3.

If Whedon hadn't gone so far to ignore AoS after he created it because of him being upset over the studio wanting Coulson brought back, we might not have the rift that we have now between the TV and movie sides of the MCU house. Though I'm not sure that it matters much at this point.

If the show survives to be renewed for a fifth season, I can't see it continuing on from there. Even with the fact that AoS practically doubles its ratings thanks to DVR, which it has done pretty much every season.

I really hate defibrillator scenes in movies and tv shows.

Public shield is a good excuse not to have Coulson as director. Hard to have a dead guy doing a press release.

Who's the statue at the end of this last episode, that the bad woman calls "brother"?

We don't know who it is, although I think he's probably the Senator's actual brother. It's not a statue, it's the cocoon people go into when they've been exposed to Terrigen crystals. (Remember Quake and Trip?)

My guess is he is dead now, and she's hell bent on vengeance against inhumans.

Is there a connection between the ghost-scientists and Agent Carter that I'm forgetting? They seem to wear clothes from an older era, and the black substance the infected see kinda looks like that zero-matter that consumed/empowered the villian in the last Agent Carter season.
