In the early 70's, there was a movie called "Sssss". In addition to a ton of snake scenes, at the end the lead good guy starts turning into a snake. I'm sure the special effects would look corny as hell today, but at the time it scared the sh*t out of 5-year old me. Not to mention that it was disturbing that the good guy lost.

serbian film didnt disturb me so much as anger me because it was obvious the producers were just going for shock horror. there was nothing artistic about it. One artistic movie that is pretty messed up (that I was just reminded of the other day after watching "eyes wide shut") is "salo".

I read the synopsis and watched a "what the **** did I just watch" on Salo and it looks pretty disturbing as well.

That whole movie just made me uncomfortable.

Saving Private Ryan - coward scene. I wish they had taken that part out. I got up and walked out of the movie theater. I know it's just a movie but it felt so real to me. Still haven't watched that scene again.

In the early 80s there was a hitch hiker movie where the killer puts fingers in the fries. It ruined fries for me. I always look at my fries before eating.

Sixth Sense when the boy says follow me I'll show you my Dad's gun and turns around with the head wound! My best friend killed himself in 6th grade and that hit me hard.

Jaws- I swear I was scared to even swim in a lake as a kid because of this damn movie.

Read the book. It will really make you angry. Much more detail there wasn't time for in the book. Odd mix of it being a really good book but also being mad a lot of it.

I think that is a great prank for any other bad film, but this one basically has child rape scenes just from reading about it. The film has been banned in Spain, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Norway, and temporarily banned from screening in Brazil.

Not sure why something like this should be spread around at all.

The first scene in Darkness Falls when the "Toothfairy" is waiting for the kid hovering above the bathroom door in the hallway after it killed his mom.

The rest of the movie is rubbish but the beginning scared me good.

i watched it and i dont know what scene you are referring to. certainly not the last one with the dogs, that was maybe the most satisfying of the series.

I think he means during the battle when fighters had intestines hanging out when wounded.

I was more disturbed when Ramsey fed his stepmother and brother to the dogs. Didn't see it happen, but it really bugs me when babies are killed on screen.

Son of Saul with the opening scene of the Sonderkammando leading the Jewish prisoners into the gas chamber.

Of all the messed up scenes in Sleepers, for some reason the scene where Nokes makes the kids eat food off of the floor disturbs me most. I don't know why.

If I let myself think about IT I can still give myself nightmares some 20 years later. Why my parents thought it would be okay for their 5-6 year old to watch that movie I will never know.

Storm drains still freak me the eff out. And clowns? Ha, yeah, forget about it. Clowns are terrifying and will always be terrifying. I hate any and all horror films though, so pretty much the entirety of Scream, IT, The Ring, The Shining, The Exorcist, etc. all terrify me so bad that I'll be unable to sleep for weeks after watching them.

The coward scene in SPR also made me pretty uncomfortable...not enough to ruin the movie for me, but enough that I tend to fast forward through it.

The ending of United 93 when they finally go down....

Several scenes in A Clockwork Orange disturbed me because I was too young to watch them, I think. I was about 15 or 16 when it was on cable once.

But more recently, a movie called Bone Tomahawk was on DTV. I love Kurt Russell and he plays a Sheriff in that, also has Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox and David Arquette. But I digress.

The movie is about them tracking down Wilson's wife and another deputy who were taken by these bizarre animalistic 'indian-type people' but they're more like animals, grunting and cruel and they are cannibals.

This one scene shows them killing one of their captives and it's very disturbing. They push a club down his mouth, scalp him and then turn him upside-down to hack him in two at the crotch with an axe-like bone or tool. I have to admit it was pretty damn disgusting and I can usually take violence - EXCEPT AGAINST ANIMALS.

Overall the movie is pretty good, but I could've done without that scene, I mean yikes.
