D23 news:

Kevin Feige says Marvel Studios will start to release 2 films and 3 shows a year after 2025.
"It turns out that we have been working on these titles for a long time, and they happen to be all ready for release now. We are very excited."

Kevin Feige teased that Marvel Studios' focus remains on current projects before revealing anything for the 2026-2027 slate.
"When you set out to make two Avengers films - they are colossal, gigantic, and consume you completely. But we have already announced a Spider-Man film that will be released between Doomsday and Secret Wars."

Kevin Feige on the 'BLADE' film:
"We are committed to Blade. We love the character, we love the version that Mahershala has of him … I can say that the character will reach the MCU."

Kevin Feige on Scarlet Witchs future:
"We just had Agatha All Along on Disney+, and that series was great for us. I can only say that we are excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch can return."

Kevin Feige on when Miles Morales will be introduced to the MCU:
"Miles will appear in the third 'Spider-Verse' movie, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after that, he can enter the MCU in live-action"

Kevin Feige says the X-Men will be important to the MCU after the events of 'AVENGERS: SECRET WARS'

funny thing. by the time they eventually make Young Avengers, many of the key players will be OLDER than both Scarlet and Chris Hems worth were when their respective first MCU movies came out/

More Red Guardian and Bucky in these clips than rumors had led us to believe. Very minimal Taskmaster though (maybe an early death? Or villain again?).

Cap looks pretty damn good.

Thunderbolts* looks far better than it deserves to be. The only potential issue I might have with Brave New World is the lack of Steve Rogers, but it's not like that is news. Just might have an adjustment time to get used to Mackie in the role. Has a similar feel to The Winter Soldier.

Any comic book readers know if Cap ever fought Red Hulk, and if that was Sam Wilson or Rogers?

they have fought but they were also on the avengers togethers.

the red hulk is (to use DnD terminology) chaotic neutral. but generally a "good guy".

he is not a split personality like Banner/Hulk. He is fully intelligent and 100% Ross inside. Just amped up.

As solid as Brave New World looks, I'm just blown away by Thuderbolts*. In terms of the more grounded, non-space/alien/creature movies, it legit looks like it might feature some of the best action/fight choreography in the entire MCU. Throw in some actual personality, some Guardians of the Galaxy-esque humor, along with some slight Winter Soldier vibes, and I never in a million years thought I would be this excited for this thing.

from the leaks, many confirmed by these two trailers, the plot of Thunderbolts is a much stronger overall

the frustrating thing about both is the endings just do not have the impact nor forward momentum we had with winter soldier, and that frustrates me because that is what I want. But i guess it does not need to exist given however they are planning to move into the two avengers movies. whatever that is.

From what I've read, the Thunderbolts have a role in either Doomsday, Secret Wars, or both. So hopefully we get that forward momentum vibe, that feels like it's setting up something even bigger.

i assume they all are part of doomsday/SW.

my point was more the endings of both movies as they stand now (we know some reshoots are going to happen) do not escalate in anticipation of future events. The respective stories just end.

So Harrison Ford is red hulk? Does hulk age the same way as a human? He's got like 10 years left.

Hulk is immortal.

Red Hulk... not yet written into his character

but teh good thing is Red Hulk almost NEVER reverts back to Ross.

Ford could sign a post mortem agreement with Disney for future Red Hulk appearances (let's be real, that is not Ford doing that strenuous motion capture), and allow AI voice for say... $30MM a pop for X number of appearances.

Okay to be fair, Winter Solider showed that Hydra controlled SHIELD, and literally blew up everything that made the Avengers "legit".

Outside of The Snap I don't think they had a bigger "moment" in the MCU. I don't think it is reasonable to do things like that very often.

...on another note it reminds me... I realized that I like when movies don't do a whole lot in the MCU. I want them to explore the world they've created sometimes. As great as Endgame was, and tried to give us a look at life inside a post-snap world, it was only about 90 minutes until they started the heist. We've had a few flashbacks that help fill in the gaps, but basically they've brushed off 5 years to "get back to the story".

They do a good job of creating worlds. Is it so bad when you end in the same place you started?

The big action sequences aren't as much mocap anyway, it's much more effective for subtle facial stuff and acting moments.

Really pulling for Thunderbolts to be great. Love David Harbour in Stranger Things and want him to blow up big after Hellboy flopped and Black Widow had to deal with COVID box office. Him and Bucky together looks great.

John Walker's US Agent is the sarcastic a-hole that Marvel has been sorely missing for a long time.

Really like the expansive tech they've given Cap in the new trailer, because even as a top 1% of the world athlete, the Former Falcon is just a guy, no super powers.
I have to be honest, red hulk seems really dumb to me, both as a character and as part of the plot.

Holding out hope for cameos by either Bruhl as Zemo or my multiverse girlfriend Emily Van Camp as Sharon Carter.

Temporary because they will become the new Avengers.

Total speculation.

Or, it's a joke based on the team's own reluctance to use the name.
