given that doom's mask is fused to his face.... few ever get to see his face other than for plot purposes...The Porkchop Express said:
Does that mean that Doomsday is or isn't a multiverse movie? Because clearly someone is going to notice that Dr Doom looks a whole lot like Tony Stark, right?

What does that even mean? That they aren't fitting in any additional films after the 2025 films we already know about (Captain America, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four) before May 2026's Avengers film? Because that would have been pretty difficult to pull off to begin with.
Maybe that they aren't starting work on post-Avengers projects so that that gets all their focus? So we might have an empty-ish 2028?

Seems like you're paying RDJ a whole lot of money to be a voice behind a mask.C@LAg said:given that doom's mask is fused to his face.... few ever get to see his face other than for plot purposes...The Porkchop Express said:

RDJ is just flashbacks?
so maybe not?
I'd like a parody video of the Portals scene in End game, where each time a character shows up and takes their mask/helmet off - i.e. Starlord, Spider-Man, Pepper Pots - they are immediately shot and killed by a laser beam.TCTTS said:
It sounds like the whole point is that because he looks identical to RDJ, it'll be harder for certain characters - like, say, Peter Parker - to kill him. They're really going to lean into that idea, so my guess is the mask won't be as prominent.

Disagree you need Loki as a TVA prerequisite. For one it was mostly explained in the movie. Also the events of S2 barely even show up.
I will say I really liked s2 so it's mostly you should watch Loki because it's good
Ugh. Only Daredevil and Wakanda for me.The Porkchop Express said:
YouTube friendly.
Looks like Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel) will show up in Daredevil as there is a shot of her dad talking to Matt Murdock in there.
I think I'm going to punish my kids when they act up by making them watch Ironheart.

Apparently the end of season two of Loki - specifically, Loki's fate - plays a part in either one or both of the next two Avengers movies. So, IMO, it's worth watching because it's (mostly) good *and* because it will apparently be relevant down the line. To what extent, I'm not yet sure, but we're not done with that character quite yet.

based on one of those internal focus group reviews in late Aug (or maybe early Sep) the back half of the movie is rather boring.TCTTS said:
More power to them for continuing to try and get this thing right, but man, this has to be some kind of reshoot record at this point...Giancarlo Esposito has revealed that he’s doing reshoots for ‘CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD’ next week.
