I was referring to the MCU, but I also forgot he did the Guardian Devil story. As far as I've read, it was well received.

historically in film.....forget about Marvel....just film in general....

has there ever been a movie that's been through such hell with even getting started? wasn't this first announced before covid? and now it's 2024 and we still don't even have a script....

i mean....i assume there has to be something that's gone worse throughout history.....granted a lot of what i know about is production and post-production issues......but this is pre-production hell of roughly 5 years with no end in sight!

has there ever been any project that's been fully completed and released that went through a worse start than this?

Plenty of movies have been through far, far worse. That said, no, personally, I can't think of one that was actually announced, dated, and featured an Oscar-winning star of this caliber, that's seen this many setbacks and delays.
