Too bad Kevin Smith will never do Marvel.

Is it? You saw what he did to He Man, right?
I loved that series, and all the animation was done by an amazing Aggie!Average Joe said:redline248 said:

I enjoyed it. Also enjoyed the stuff I've read that he wrote for DC comics.
He did that great Green Arrow arc, yes?Average Joe said:redline248 said:

Kevin Smith did write for Marvel, and his short run with Daredevil was very good.

Next month will mark five years since Mahershala Ali was cast as Blade, and we’ve yet to see an image of him as the character.

They do not have a finished script.
Four different release dates.
And now two different directors have left the project. https://t.co/Px3rvDTPyy pic.twitter.com/zpfLYzkqAb
Hmmmmmmmmm…I wonder if there’s someone who recently met with Marvel and might be up for replacing Yann Demange as the new writer/director of a vampire superhero film with a limited budget and instill a fun, horror filled vibe into the movie.

Each tweet contains different/additional nuggets of information, for those who don't want to read the article itself. There's a method to my madness, and it's in service of what's most helpful to posters, so they don't have to leave the page. But I guess as long as you get to continue your obsession with commenting on every last thing I do, that's all that really matters.
Seriously, take everything but FF off the table. Scrap Agatha TV and scrap Capt 4.i is smart said:
Seems like they just need to scrap Blade and some other Marvel projects.

historically in film.....forget about Marvel....just film in general....
has there ever been a movie that's been through such hell with even getting started? wasn't this first announced before covid? and now it's 2024 and we still don't even have a script....
i mean....i assume there has to be something that's gone worse throughout history.....granted a lot of what i know about is production and post-production issues......but this is pre-production hell of roughly 5 years with no end in sight!
has there ever been any project that's been fully completed and released that went through a worse start than this?
