The movie sucks.
Makes for a fun gag, but this thing is so edited that it's hard to tell if this movie is truly as awkward as shownBrian Earl Spilner said:Madame Web is the greatest movie of all time pic.twitter.com/XBGFGbBgQg

I'm not against watching bad movies. They have their place for fun and also to make you appreciate the good ones. There's a lot of great movies I haven't see though and with little kids I have to be selective about what I watch and when.
On top of that just feel like these Sony movies are the laziest attempt at latching onto the success of the MCU that I've ever seen so I take a moral stand by not watching them. No need to thank me for my service.

Deadpool 3 will beat it….madam web won't bank over 70 million domestic and Deadpool 3 will crush that opening weekend
you know what....im updating this.....
madam web will not gross over 50 million US domestic.....opening weekend will come in under 20 million domestic.....
deadpool 3 will beat madam web's total US domestic monies by end of day friday (assuming it premieres on a thursday)

Now….prices vary per ticket and I did a check could range anywhere from $9 - $12 for average theaters…..so let's go with $10.50 per ticket……
I only go to the movies 3-4 times a year at max to Alamo drafthouse in Katy….thats what I found on the internet as a national average….Sex Panther said:jokershady said:

Where the **** are you watching movies??
whelp I'll adjust the math and that makes the attendees per showing time even worse….TCTTS said:
I just paid $19.89 to see Drive-Away Dolls next weekend at the Alamo Drafthouse LA.
Paid $29.14 per ticket to see Dune: Part Two the week after that in IMAX.
I can't remember the last time I paid less than even $15 for a ticket. Close to a decade ago?
Ok I'm going to update the math and do $11 a ticket and $13 a ticket and just give the whole number for each one for the average # of people per showing across the US…..and I will NOT show my work….jokershady said:
Let's do more math….
Over the past 3 days the average revenue per theater has been $1,038. It's currently playing in 4,013 theaters….
Now…some of those theaters will only have it on one screen due to being smaller….others will have it on 2-3 screens…..so let's say per theater its on 1.5 screens which gives a total of 6020 (rounded up) total screens it's playing on in the USA…..
Now….prices vary per ticket and I did a check could range anywhere from $9 - $12 for average theaters…..so let's go with $10.50 per ticket……
That means per movie screen, you have an average of $691 dollars per theater screen (4013 theaters X $1,038 average revenue / 6020 total movie screens)……take $691 / $10.50 per ticket gives you approximately 65 people per theater screen per day…..
Now….how many showings per day per screen? My guess is somewhere between 4 - 5….so let's say 4.5 depending on the theater…..
That means on average 12 - 18 people in a theater to watch this thing on opening weekend per showing…..daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang
