Yeah, it came out a few months agoThe Porkchop Express said:

Not a bad policy. The Marvels has been out awhile but not streaming, so there are still folks like me that haven't seen it yet.Quote:
So now I just put something about an "older" movie in spoiler tags and let God sort it out.

I assumed it was already streaming, but apparently just announced...MooreTrucker said:Not a bad policy. The Marvels has been out awhile but not streaming, so there are still folks like me that haven't seen it yet.Quote:

And putting spoiler tags is less than 10 extra keystrokes.
‘THE MARVELS’ lands on Disney+ on February 7.

But I once mentioned on a thread about the prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing (also called The Thing) that the prequel focused on the Norwegian crew that all perished after encountering the titular critter as depicted in the 1982 movie, and another poster actually asked if I had just spoiled something in the new movie.

I feel like we heard this for a Super Bowl not too long ago for a movie trailer that never debuted……think it was a Star Wars…..TCTTS said:
Rumor is, the first trailer will debut during the Super Bowl in less than two weeks, but who knows for sure...

It happens every year. For a ton of movies. Some trailers/spots are announced ahead of time, but with others we'll know, for instance, that a studio bought three 30-second spots for the game, and we'll already know what two of those spots are, so then everyone starts speculated on the third, and that's the one they often get wrong.
For Deadpool, though, it really would be the perfect time. If July blockbusters don't already have a trailer released by Christmas, we almost always get the first footage by the Super Bowl. Couple that with Reynolds, Jackman, and the movie's director all attending a primetime Chiefs game together with Taylor Swift earlier this season - with Swift herself rumored to be in the movie / in attendance at the Super Bowl - and I could see them doing some big synergistic play, but who knows.

well hell if that's all true then they might be planning on playing the dang trailer during a commercial break on the stadium Jumbotron….TCTTS said:
Only rumored. As either Dazzler or a mystery character. And if either, probably only in a cameo capacity. She's best friends with Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, she wore his actual, movie-worn Deadpool suit for Halloween one year, and her arriving with/bringing Reynolds, Jackman, and the director to a Chiefs game, in her box, seemed to be a pretty big tell. But no one knows for sure yet.
Better yet they can just act out the trailer for the halftime showjokershady said:well hell if that's all true then they might be planning on playing the dang trailer during a commercial break on the stadium Jumbotron….TCTTS said:
