the original "infraction" was a joke I made joining 11 from Stranger Things to the X-Men/Professor X (I forget the specifics) during the Marvel showcase three weeks after the most recent Stranger Things series dropped.

Some delicate posters got a hard case of the vapours and threw a megafit for 20+pages. Staff came in, cleaned up, overreacted by creating and enforcing a new policy re: talking about 1 show in another show's thread, and I got the first honorary ban for that with no warning for the just made up policy.

I think even TCTTS got caught up in that one too (but I may be wrong in that regard).
Well ****, your dumb ass got me banned LOL. I said right after a GoT episode that Stannis and Renly had come back through these Portals that appeared in the grass or something during the Battle of Winterfell. like the dumbest thing ever.

I also got banned once for saying on the GoT thread "Your favorite character dies" with ZERO REFERENCES to who that might be.

I thought someone got banned for mentioning David Harbour's "death" at the end of S3 in this thread. Which IMO was kinda fair. I don't think "you should have watched it by now, where have you been?" is a good defense when it's in a different thread/franchise entirely.

I may be misremembering though. I'm also the guy who thought about putting spoiler tags on that death from 2019 so I'm a lil bit conservative I guess.

Really great podcast episode on all the behind-the-scenes of the Marvel VFX situation, Victoria Alonso's firing, etc. So incredibly informative, and only half an hour at that. Basically, it sounds like Marvel/Alanso had become somewhat of a tyrant, and at this point I'm kind of glad it blew up in their faces. Time to reset, cut back on output, spread their projects out more, etc, which is thankfully what's being done. We simply don't need four movies and three shows a year…

Combine the texts with her refusing to comply to press charges or serve as a witness and he's not going to get charged or tried. Just like what happened to Chris Beard.

Then things get really uncomfortable for Marvel, because you're either firing someone who didn't get convicted or you're not firing someone who everyone thinks is guilty. You'll probably wind up with him doing an Oprah interview about where his rage comes from and winding up opneing some center for battered women with Kamala Harris and doing a bunch of press so they don't have to change it to Avengers: The MODOK Dynasty in 2026.

Exact thing I thought when I saw those. Plus the fact that this could be a sad case of gaslighting which will make those all the worse.

I think the desperation to clear his name is making it increasingly obvious something is up.

Jeez I forgot all about Majors being in Loki Season 2. Owen Wilson is quoted as saying it's coming out no later than September 2023. Now the clock is REALLY ticking on them to make a decision, because you would assume he's all over that thing based on the teaser at the end of Ant-Man.

Just do some reshoots and have Loki defeat the root timeline branch that caused all those Kangs, only to realize that there is another root branch of Kangs that use a different actor. Just like there are different Loki actors.

Or just do cop out and have him wipe out all of the Kangs, and move on to Doom and/or Galactus.
