Yep. Your average movie goer might've been vaguely aware of Iron Man at best.

Yeah, but the stones created reality/existence itself. They're the tools of the gods. Like DallasTeleAg said, I'm assuming they have some form of sentience, and *they* knew that Gamora switched sides. Either way, Gamora not getting dusted has never bothered me in the least. In fact, I'd never even thought about it before today.
That's Lylla who has a special relationship with Rocket in the comics. She was actually teased in the first GOTG movie during Rocket's rap sheet readout from the Nova Corps. The Porkchop Express said:
Pretty sure I saw Rocket hugging an otter in there.

B is incredibly generous for Iron Man.
B would be Aquaman, The Flash, etc.

This. A-team is a pretty small set of heroes.
Now that I know that, perhaps we have the Toy Story 4 ending where Rocket leaves the Guardians to try and be happy with someone special.cav14 said:That's Lylla who has a special relationship with Rocket in the comics. Now THAT was a movie they nailed.ChipFTAC01 said:jeffk said:

But if you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire the A-Team.
And Wonder Woman, I take it? Nobody has mentioned her yet. She's A-list.CowtownAg06 said:
I honestly don't remember if I knew who Iron Man was pre 2008. I certainly couldn't have told you the first thing about him. Superman is Superman, but otherwise all I knew was Batman/Spiderman/Xmen from 80s/90s movies and animated series.

Iron Man was my favorite comic as a boy and the one I read more than any other. I was thrilled when that movie got made.
Plus he was an Avenger. I think he was more well-known than you realize.
I disagree that Ironman was unknown, but I've read comic books since the 60's (the bygone generation rhutton mentioned), so what do I know. I consider all of the JLA A-list.Brian Earl Spilner said:
But not as well known among the mainstream. To say he was B-tier is pretty disingenuous.
A tier is a pretty small list. (Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, maybe Wolverine?)
B tier is ones that most people would know even if they aren't comic readers, such as The Flash, Aquaman, Hulk etc.
C tier is about the highest I could possibly see someone ranking Iron Man before 2008. Some others I would put here are Ant Man, Captain Marvel, Black Adam, etc.
In any case, this is all just to give props for being able to kickstart an entire franchise with a relatively unknown character.

I think pre-Gadot Wonder Woman was A-list to my parents but obscure to me. Other than a WW cup my mom had, I think I went from childhood to BvS without knowing or seeing anything about her. I'm 34.
I could be entirely alone in that assessment but to me she was kind of a legacy A-lister from a bygone generation.

Can I ask a really dumb question…didn't the green lady die?
Yes, the "original" version of Gamora died. Killed by Thanos. But in Endgame, when our heroes traveled back to 2014, they encountered a version of Gamora who was obviously still alive, and eventually time travelled with 2014 Thanos to 2023, where they faced off against the Avengers & co in the climax. Now, the 2014 version of Gamora is still alive in 2023/the events of GOTG3. However, she had never met Peter, since 2014 Gamora was pre the first GOTG. So when Peter tried to talk to her in the Endgame climax, she kneed him in the nuts and presumably ran off after the battle. Then, the last thing we saw Peter doing, at the very end of Endgame, was run a location search on his ship, in attempt to find 2014 Gamora's whereabouts. Based on this trailer, they obviously find her, and I'm sure Peter will attempt to get her to fall in love with him all over again.

This was on Reddit the other day and it shows the impact of Guardians.
Marvels 2007 vs 2015 lineup. The Fantastic 4 and X-Men almost completely go away and it lineup gets way more cosmic.

Assuming you aren't talking about the dog Lockjaw, I think it is Luke Cage.YellAgs said:is that Stone Cold Steve Austin on the bottom left?Quad Dog said:
