i think james gunn indicated that guardians takes place in a different galaxy from the rest of the MCU...i'll see if i can find the linkredline248 said:
Question on the cosmic part of the MCU. Are all the planets and aliens we've seen since Guardians 1 all in the same galaxy? In Thor 1 when he's teaching Jane about the realms, I got the impression those were parallel universes. Then, in later movies, everyone seems to know what Asgardians are. It seems like they've been a little inconsistent on this, but now I think it's all one galaxy.

And anytime anyone brought the movie up, i'd tell them to shut it or I would finally snap.

This comment deserves a blue parachute. Am I the only one who caught this?

or Hubert as an alternative.
These were C List comic book heroes at best before Iron Man. It's so impressive what Marvel Studios has done.C@LAg said:
Aside from Hulk, we hardly knew they existed growing up.Bruce Almighty said:
No they weren't
For the most part, that's correct. And I probably should've made that more clear.Bruce Almighty said:
So if a character doesn't have movies, cartoons or video games made after them, they're c list heroes? It seems to me, you have less than 10 characters that weren't c list prior to a decade ago. My guess, is that you probably didn't read comic books growing up and only knew of those that crossed over into 90s pop culture.
In the same boat. I knew about the X-Men cause I read the comics and spinoffs in the mid through late 80's. Prior to MCU, outside of X-Men, about the only super heroes either DC or Marvel I could easily name/identify were the Justice League variety, Spiderman, Hulk, Capt America, and Iron. But didn't know much about them beyond their appearance. And Thor was Norse mythology to me then.double aught said:For the most part, that's correct. Like the large majority of the general public, I never thought about the Avengers prior to ten years ago, thus making what Marvel has done quite impressive.
