Maybe reshoots will result in Drax dying in Avengers 4.

I'd be upset - especially since you could easily have a Moondragon subplot in Guardians 3 - but I'd rather him die well than be written out without mention.

Pretty simple fix. After the Avengers "win," Drax asks the Avengers to use the soul stone to send him away to be with his wife and daughter. Drax fulfills his quest to stop Thanos and gets a happy ending. GOTG moves on without him.
